To me is it the requirement of killing parts of yourself or perhaps your entire old self in order to become a fully actualized person. In the novel Abraxas is said to leave you if you become boring or normal, rather than based on some sort of moral judgement. Very beyond good and evil vibes. I’m currently stuck in an abusive household; have been for years.
