Lofi Hiphop Beat on the Sonicware Liven: Bass & Beats

Hi everyone. I recently got the chance to work on this synth by Sonicware called the Liven: Bass & Beats. Its a monophonic wavetable bass hardware synthesizer (similar to Serum) and a sample based drum sequencer, with a host of effects including sidechain. Priced at $199.

Can you sample it Your load your own samples How many samples can you load?

@@meinemudda3095 Right now it doesn't have the option to load on custom samples or wavetables. If that option gets added (I hope it does) there is limited space, not sure specifically on the size of the storage.

@@ElianaDAngelo for the ugly look it needs something to added in Like wavetable with mono chord modes (stick with a chord like model cycle) or adding individual samples

Nice beat and vibe! Maybe it's a dumb question: It says "monophonic bass synth", but I do hear a bass melody as well as a lead melody. How is that achieved given the monophony? Is the lead melody a pitched (drum) sample instead of a synth voice?

It has some melodic samples that can be pitched in the sequencer if that makes sense

Since it's monophonic, how are you getting both a melody and bass line out of it? Are you splitting oscillators and, if so, how?

My guess would be either they are samples on the drum track or the second oscillator is a 5th or so and the oscillator blend is being automated
