'hype!~ Hype! HYPE!' I heard it echoing on the wind. At first I thought it was the barking of a dog, but the more the chant repeated, getting louder and more insistently human, I realized all too late the word this fool was echoing like the chimes of a church bell. As their mute companions relieved me of my freedom of motion and began dragging me along behind their congregation, I will admit I panicked. Their strange garb denoted an irrational certainty at needing to clean up easily afterwards, and I didn't want to be what was cleaned up, so I tried to respond. 'Uhm, Hype?' the small cult stopped, all turning to me expectantly. Their barking leader returned the call. "hyyyype? hype HYPE!" Their leader looked me over, sniffed me, and seemed to be listening for something on the cold wind that I unfortunately began to hear; music, but music of a genre I could not quantify. It was as if the very machine repeating the music had become depressed and was warping the melody, and yet it was trying its hardest to be comforting. The leader cultist must have noticed my hearing the music now, as they fell silent and all of them began to watch me expectantly. When another cultist began to offer me robes, at first I was confused, but as the music continued I realized I knew my instructions. They came without words. it was then with a dreadful and certain clarity that I myself donned the cult's garb & began to repeat the chant, knowing I had to lead the others to spread the music. To make sure others heard. And so, I ask of you; Hype?
