It’s highly unlikely but I wish there would be a sequel, I want to know more about the world that Rose-engine has created, to see the world from an imperial perspective for example

@@TeflonFlak Doesn't even have to be horror, just the gritty dystopian world they've crafted through just vague descriptions in documents. Experienced through the eyes of someone completely disconnected from the first one's plot and characters. An observer, spectator, perhaps someone that saw the front-lines and trenches of the battlefields we've got just a few frames of. The world in the frontlines of Signalis likely is as dreadful as something like The Forever Winter, just imagine being some poor gestalt trooper amidst biomechanical war machines, some of which are touted as superweapons that likely count as entire military divisions in their own right. The horrors of war that horrible to a degree are just as horrifying as those beyond human understanding that we get to endure in Signalis. Experienced through a nobody, just a normal man or woman forced into the meatgrinder whose name or deeds won't even be remembered.

Lately I've been wanting to play through Signalis for the third time more and more often. What's wrong with me? x)) Despite the fact that I know this tragic plot, the atmosphere is so amazing that I want to try this game again. I had something similar with Silent Hill 2, by the way. And by the way, the second time I replayed it with a third-person view mod. A very interesting experience, I want to note. What surprised me was that many areas that were not in the camera's field of view in the original were surprisingly detailed. It’s as if the developers planned to somehow show these views to the player, but it didn’t work out, but they didn’t remove some of the scenery. @TeflonFlak , if anything, I answered your comment. I deeply apologize that I had so much text that I had to divide it into six parts. If anything, all these parts are in the comment thread where you answered me.

Agreed :) The atmosphere is so sublime. Normally I'm just afraid to go back to horror games because they're scary... I'm afraid to play Signalis again because it hurts so much, knowing what happens 🥺️ I need to try it with the third person mod... but it's hard to bring myself to go back. It's amazing how much detail is in it, for what is ostensibly such a graphically "simple" game. The amount of love Rose-Engine put into it shines through in every way. Sorry I haven't replied to your comments yet, I will do so in good time. Unfortunately work is destroying my life right now :) Thank you for such a detailed reply
