LOFI SOUL BEATMAKING ON THE PO33KO: SOME DILLA TYPE STUFF!

Hey guys! A lot of people are asking for clarification about connecting the mpk mini to the po33 to "control the FX using the knobs" and... there is no such thing aha! the mpk is controlling some FX on my computer (not shown in video) via ableton live. There are NO ways to connect the mpk to the po. If you'd like to see the entire signal flow + how to create an fx module in ableton, please comment below and if enough people want it, I'll drop it! I just finished making a great beat on one I ended up recording it into the tascam and put compression and eq on it also I recorded it on two tracks and panned one mostly left and one mostly right mixed it and mastered it the difference a little bit of compression makes is crazy....nice beat by the way

LET ME CLARIFY, THE POs DON'T SEQUENCE EXTERNAL GEAR. THEY HAVE THEIR OWN INTERNAL SEQUENCER FOR THEIR OWN SOUNDS. THE WAY I LIKE TO USE THEM WITH THE SP404 IS LAY DOWN SOME DRUMS ON THE PO INTERNAL SEQ AND THEN HAVE THEM CUT AND LOOPED PERFECTLY IN THE SP. THEN I USUALY ADD SAMPLES ON TOP.

it really depends on the length of the sample and how it's been used! It's in the KZbin ID detection algorithm. It'd be different if I was releasing the song commercially on music platforms, which I'm not ofc But you'd be surprised how many releases have even recognizable samples that don't get cleared.

that's not at all what I said, and that statement doesn't even make sense: the 404 is a sampler and FX unit. the mpk is a midi controller with no sounds or FX on its own. what I said is that ABLETON controlled by the mpk is as good or, actually, more powerful and flexible than a 404. which is just a factuality.
