They stay in my ears when running and become unnoticeable. They are tight but comfortable. The sound quality is about the same as the 1st gen buds. *fixed mine by* 1. cleaning the case and the metal 2. throwing my pods many times but not too hard. also the case i dropped it many times. 3. i placed my pods back by pressing it down in the case for minutes. (hard pressed) 4. i charged it with original charger for 2 hours. and then it worked! hope that helps

Here’s what worked for me: 1. ⁠Plugged in my AirPods 2. ⁠Opened the lid 3. ⁠Pressed the button on the case and held it for a minute while lid was open 4. ⁠While the light was flashing I unplugged them 5. ⁠I closed the lid and opened it again 6. ⁠They now worked without needing to be plugged in 7. ⁠Light was still flashing 8. ⁠Got notification on my iPhone to connect AirPods Strangely, the battery now indicated 1%, a minute previous to that when it was plugged in, it showed 99%. I guess they where dead but there was a bug or something that prevented them from charging and made them think the battery is full. I think what I did reset them.

First person who actually knows what he’s talking about! Thanks for mentioning buying a case only, I was so upset when I woke this morning and my airpod case was completely dead!!! No lights, no nothing. Troubleshooted, reset, was about to buy another one but I couldn’t see spending another 200 for something that lasted me a year! I hate that, hate supporting companies that make cheap items! Now that you said I could just buy a case, makes sense!!! For some reason I was thinking it had to be the same case it came with. After a full charge My AirPods Pro case will have no light and won’t connect even tho it’s fully charged. I’ve tried pressing the button but it does nothing. The only solution is plugging the AirPods pro to the charger a second time and the light will turn on and then they’ll show they’re fully charged and connect normally (even if I unplug the charger). This however is really frustrating because if I leave the house and I forget to do this little trick then my AirPods Pro are fully useless. I certainly did not buy AirPods to bring a charger with me at all times. Does anyone have a solution? Would it be useful to switch them for a new pair or will they have similar issues? I wish they worked better for what I paid.

I found it out. Plug in the case and since that is the only time that it blinks hold it until the red light blinks twice. Once the second red comes on close the airpod case and then unplug it. Then open up the case. When I did that the light was flashing white and then I connected it to my phone. Hopefully this works for you. (This is for the problem with the light when it is not connected to a power source.)
