Beautiful moon rize and sunrize. Nice stills. When I see a mountain I want to go to the top and see it all. Great job. Beautiful village. Ride the sea taxi. Now I watch the 1st part. I would had to had my coffee on the peak. It is unique and incredible views. Glad you made it. I could see the elation on your face when you viewed the summit. Wow, I'm here.

Wow! That summit. Admittedly I was a little woozy when you were looking down on either side, but what a view! As you made yourself a well-deserved cup of coffee, I thought that that cup had some serious miles on it! :) I loved the perspective between the summit and what it looks like from sea level. Very cool! Then back to civilization and Lofoten slowly fading into dusk and cloud. Just beautiful, Jarl. Thanks so much for this journey. :)♥

Lofoten, never heard of this place. Indeed it is one of the most scenic spots/views I've ever seen. Lucky, lucky you too have arrived at the summit on a clear day. I can only imagine what it's like to physically sit atop the world & enjoy the views with your own eyes. Thank you for sharing this epic adventure with MEeee & all of youtube. Yes, I'm a long time subscriber & "liked" this video & saved it so I can easily find it to watch it over & over again in the coming years. I especially enjoyed your s-l-o-w pan beginning around 8 minutes into this video. Only a very gentle breeze as you pitched your tent, lucky, lucky you. Beautiful views with an overhead sun & later in the day as the sun sets. It takes a steady hand to not spill coffee from that small open cup. It boggles my mind that you carry water bottles instead of a water filled bladder. Good, good, that you labeled your campsite & peak when looking back while on the boat. Warm Regards from Reno, Nevada U.S.A.

My dear soul, this is truly an amazing video, :) I absolutely love how calming and soothing it is to just press play and be taken on this hiking journey with you. My life has been very stressful lately, with a lot of transformation and changes, and this is something I needed to help my mind to be at ease more. You also remind me to get out there into nature and find more calming time with mother nature. Which is something I used to do way more and got caught too much in city life. Sending much love, and thank you for sharing it with us :)

One day, I suddenly saw your video and was very impressed. The hike in Lofoten in particular was enough to provoke the urge to visit even tomorrow. Thanks for the great video and I have a question for you. How is transportation in Lofoten? I wonder if it is possible to use a bus or taxi, or if I need to rent a car.

I am sitting here daydreaming about living in that part of the world. I don't understand if you lived there, why you would ever want to leave. With my limited knowledge (very limited) I would think that was paradise. No place is perfect, but I think this place is pretty close to it. Of course, I would have to learn to speak Swedish. Thaks for this video, it gives me something to dream about.
@NorwegianXplorer Жыл бұрын
Norwegian would be a better choice for Norway, but both would work. The weather is a challenge in Norway and why some choose to move, the other thing is politics, Norwegian politics are rotten to the core.

I guess it is pretty flawed everywhere, but lately Norway has taken a really bad turn with the new government that might destroy a lot of our nature and kill off wild animals and adventurous and creative minds....

Absolutely stunning... could you provide some recommendation on hiking Norway? We are a group of two and would like to hike for a week in late August 2023 with tent. Ideally away from the crowds and easy to reach when flying in internationally via Oslo. Which NP would fit best in your opinion?
@NorwegianXplorer Жыл бұрын
Thanks, hard to say, the ones closer to Oslo would be Rondane, Jotunheimen, Breheimen and Femundsmarka
