Funny. In the beginning Michael wanted to RV. Layne was hesitant. Now Michael sold the rv and Layne was hesitant. Michael currently wants to be homebound and Layne wants to travel.

Hey guys - just wanted to drop a note and let you know there are other former fulltime family Christian Jeep-owning RVers (named Michael with a November birthday no less!) who have settled in Ava...;) We were ~ 8 years on the road with our two kids. You guys continue to be my role models. I really enjoyed watching your adventures. My brother Robert, same last name as you, in Iowa raised my nieces and nephews fabulously while homeschooling. They are well rounded and even better educated than my kids. My niece Tiana even went to Spain for a portion of her education and she got to do some missionary work as well. You are doing the right thing by following your heart back to the Church. You are the spiritual leader of your family and you are showing your kids you can have all your dreams in life. It never has to be a choice between God and adventure. Sometimes even having a closer walk with him can be the adventure. I love that the boys get to do sports while you reestablish your bond with the Lord. I love Georgia too!!!! I would leave Missouri for Georgia in a New York second if I had the choice. 😀 I am so glad you guys are still following your dreams and helping me to see how life could be one day. Just saying from a professional point of view. 😑 It’s not nice to have to struggle to hear you. That’s why you cut. I’m a professional photographer. I also had video classes. Happy Birthday Michael. Thx for talking about the elephants in the room (for me) with full time RVing. Could this be our forever downsized lifestyle? Do I want a place to belong (base)? Like you, my needs changed and travel will always be a part of my life. Its hard to explain that joy an RV can bring and yet still the faint nagging for a base. You explain it very well for people that are considering full timing or are considering stopping full-timing. Its not a possible failure or mistake. It is an adventure that, like many adventures, lead to new and different possibilities. Your videos were always honest, thoughtful and informative. As health allows our travels hopes now are more "overlanding style" across the U.S. in an outfitted 4x4 (tent camping) , staying in hotels or quaint rentals and most of all traveling to other countries. Meeting different people that really are a lot like you is very exhilarating and comforting. I like the mobility not having a big RV now. I think you enthusiastically say it somewhere in your videos but if your thinking of full-timing DO IT, but be prepared you may change your mind. But that's ok, that's life. Thx for sharing your lives and I get the burn out on social media. Don't apologize, you hv helped many people. Again Happy Birthday and Merry Christmas!! Larry P.S. I just got an E-bike too.

Wondered where you all disappeared too. We just bought a rig to travel some…but we are at Retirement age… You will only have your kids for a very short time….trust me a simple life is best and enjoy them.

i cut off cable last month and i have had a flip phone for 4 years now i do have a smart phone but i only us it as a quick church apps i do not have yt FB nothing like that at all on that phone church members has that cell phone number i do not even know the number to the cell phone. i do not really check FB but check on the kids i am never on twitter i am on rumble at 10pm-12am i was looking at a lot RV but now i am looking at bus to full time live get a smaller car for the two of us then sell the truck even though we just out 4k in tool boxes and trailer brakes welcome back i have missed y'all so much

Life in an RV is kind of "one deminsional". I think your viewers find your family interesting, not just because you travel in an RV, but because you live an interesting life. After all, many of us know what the most important things in life are. Follow your instincts, make sure your priorities are met, and take an RV trip every now and then.

Hi guys great to see you both, you Guys have been both sides of the fence. You had your Home sold everything, Bought your RV travelled all over. Now you have put down roots. You Guys Homeschooled the kids. I think when one is living in a Home kids can spread those wings and do what they love to do. What Religion are you Guys, i used to be a JW for a few years, i did look at other Religions. I did not like what i was seeing around me. I do believe in God in our Creator but i do not go to Church. In life it amazes what we have to do and get through it. You Guys deserve time out. You needed to take time for yourself x I hated being 40, being 50 now over 60 i am fine with it.
