This fire pit is one of a few covered pits that is on the list kzbin.infoUgkxAU9pOCSV9Y5JprooHvfxTpOrt4hx8uRM of approved products for Disney Fort Wilderness. The product served its purpose well and provided excellent fires throughout the evening. We were able to open the door and do s'mores, but I had to be careful because the handle was a bit hot on occasions. Additionally, I wish they had replaced some of the standard nuts with lock nuts in some places. We lost the door handle after just a couple of days of usage. Not a deal breaker, just a recommendation. I still give it 5 stars.

Bit of advice. Don’t keep the fan in the centre like that. Have it either side. Never in the middle. Also, two is better. One either side. No need to go expensive. As the motors are all about the same. So buy two and you’ll notice a huge difference

Didn’t think to much about his cleaning having the ash bucket 2 feet away from the fire brushing it causing dust in the room best done surely with a miniature vacuum cleaner.

Best way to wash the glass is to take just the powdered ash and make a past. Use it to clean the glass

I find wet newspaper just moist and ash does the trick for glass. For around the stove door on my stove where the vent is I use a small brush wet and some pink stuff cleaner you can also use pink stuff on the glass but I only clean the inside of the door every week or so

Great video - I've had my woodburning stove for 8 yaers now and wood ash is definately the best thing to clean you door glass with. I also have one of the stove top fans and they soon pay for themselves by pushing the heat out into your room.

The only sure-fire glass cleaner I have discovered is Easy-Off oven cleaner. Spritz with Easy-Off, follow with a spritz of water, and wipe with paper towels. Fast and easy.

You don't need any product at all to clean the glass. Simply damp kitchen paper with water and then use the wood ash

Great series of videos, but surely the eco fan should be at the side and back, pulling in cooler air from the back and pushing it across the hot top, and not in front of the flue which can overheat the fan?

Dean Forge make a couple of stoves with a separate oven compartment on top of the combustion chamber. We are just about to replace our open grate with one, firstly to reduce air pollution in the house, as my wife is asthmatic, secondly for the heating efficiency and thirdly so we can cook/heat food in the event of a power cut.

You don't need any cleaner all you need is a wet paper towel and then you dab in the ash and you scrub It Off and it'll all just come right off with just dabbing it with Ash and little moist paper towel and then just dried off with the dry paper towel and you're done
