Today we are in Downtown Gatlinburg to eat at the Log Cabin Pancake House where we discover a unique take on pancakes and answer the question of is margarine better than butter? Full Tour and HONEST review. Stick around to the end for a bonus tour of Gatlinburg's newest puzzle and board game store! Is this where the locals eat in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Smoky Mountain Region? Is this our new favorite place to eat? Stace has a blueberry Belgian waffle, Matt has regular plain pancakes and the newest item on the menu the meat lovers omelet. We both sample the homemade pancake syrup as well as their signature Royal sauce. Did we crack the secret recipe of their Royal sauce?

God's way is always the best way! It was shocking to us that they would ruin such great food by putting so much of that margarine all over it. It wasn't even good margarine and wouldn't melt. 🤢

My husband loves the Seminoles and most of our family loves the Florida Gators as we are true Floridians!! Love you both and your comments are always appreciated!! Oh I never ate a wax crayon but we liked the wax bottles filled with a flavored juice! Ya’ll are such a joy!!

I like Eggo Waffles. At Costco you can get a box of Eggo Waffles that contain 72 waffles. I use Frank's Hot Sauce. Delicious food from The Log Cabin Pancake House. You chose a good selection of food. Bummer that the margarine was sub par. Great bonus footage. Thanks for a great review.

Yes it was! I still remember how bad my feet hurt at the end of every day! It is a very difficult job but it has its perks too. In my early 20's i appreciated the cash at the end of every shift. And I loved getting to meet and talk to so many different people!

We liked Log Cabin a lot, but I have to agree with Matt, the thing I was most disappointed by was the fact that when I ordered pecan pancakes they just tossed crumbled pecans on top instead of baking them in. Didn’t feel worth the upcharge to me.

You're right. It's really not worth the extra $$$ for a few toppings. It's hard to find a place that actually puts the stuff inside the pancakes or waffles it seems, but it's definitely better that way! Thanks for watching and commenting!

Definitely prefer on rather than in, waffles any style as long as they are crispy outside fluffy inside…we make Belgian waffles, break them into quarters and freeze them so we can just pop them in the toaster so we can have them anytime. Anything but real butter is a deal killer PERIOD! The omelette is exactly how I prefer mine.Looks like real maple syrup, lol, I prefer Mrs Butterworth, real maple syrup is too sweet for my taste, even the lower grade ones,I also prefer Franks hot sauce, it’s thicker and less vinegary . I can do the green Tabasco though…craft hot sauces are good too. Great video, thank you..agree regarding the syrup and butter I’d bring my own.👩‍❤‍👨🐶

Staci agrees with you about the real maple syrup. She thinks its way too sweet too. I enjoy most hot sauces, the craft ones are good too. I just think Tabasco is the best widely available one, but Staci's favorite is Franks. The omelet here was awesome! I think if you are going to put fruit or anything in pancakes or waffles, it should be inside them, the cooking process adds something to it in my opinion. Thanks again for watching and commenting!

Fellow eastern Kentuckian here. Like your style of reviews. May not always agree but enjoy the in depth style of review. Personally log cabin is my fav gatlinburg breakfast place. I consider it the best among the “big 3” gatlinburg breakfast spots. Those being: log cabin, crocketts & pancake pantry. Would like to see you guys compare & contrast the “big 3”. Also any other gburg breakfast spots I may be missing. Thank You

I subscribed because y'all are hilarious! 😂 Georgia Bulldogs all the way baby, for the last 22 years. I love Belgian waffles, they're my choice. I love real maple syrup, or if not Mrs. Butterworths is the only syrup our family will eat. I love Denver omelets they are my jam, I love veggies. I'd like to try that maple cream syrup. I love syrups like that. I'd just take 1/4 the margrine and use that, although I personally love butter. It was great to come along and hear an opinion. I've always watched J &B in the Hills. They're awesome. This fall our whole family of 20 is headed to Gatlinberg and Pigeon Forge, so I thought I'd better get a few opinions on where to eat. I enjoyed your video! ❤❤❤

The maple cream syrup was not for me but Staci loved it. Butter is the best! We love J & B, they're one of the first you tube channel's we started watching when we began this journey. Me either but its probably good. Nothing wrong with butter flavor syrup, I have eat a lot of it over the years. If no real syrup is available or I can't afford the real stuff, the butter flavor syrup is my go to pancake syrup.
