Log Cabin The Walls are Almost Ready, Building Alone Ep 5, - Living off the Land

Building with heavy logs takes a lot longer than I expected - it's hard work, and cutting, shaping and fastening the timbers together takes a lot of time.
The temperature sometimes rises to 28 degrees Celsius, and in such heat various insects are very active, which clearly worsen working conditions, but despite certain difficulties, this week I did a lot of work on the building of the log cabin. Moose, deer, foxes and wild boars appear around the site.
To save the harvest, I made a metal mesh fence. Now my vegetables and fruits will be safe.
I also went on a photo hunt for the first time this week. I was able to photograph a lot of wild animals that live near my site. I liked shooting and photographing nature so much that I decided to open a separate KZbin channel where I will upload videos and photos of amazing wildlife. I will share the link with you soon.

Bjorn, your videos are a work of art. The way you bring the natural surroundings in to your work, the sounds of the forest along with the animals and birds explain to us why you choose to do what you do. The garden is coming up nicely and it makes sense to put fencing around, not that you are not willing to share but it is your hard work that made it. The cabin becomes more impressive with each new log, I am sure it will be spectacular when finished and will give you much satisfaction. Your attention to detail and your patience while building is very impressive. As I watch I keep wanting to send you insect repellent so you may work without their pesky interruptions. Not meaning to invade your privacy may I ask how old are you? There is something so very remarkable about you that I feel your maturity level far exceeds your physical age. You have what we in the US call a farmer's tan line- from the neck and sleeves of your shirt. UV sunblock! Also, as many commenters have mentioned, mosquito repellent. How about ticks in the woods, the problem with them? One commenter said burn leaves, but unless you could direct the smoke to you, that probably won't work, and risk setting the area on fire. >>Could those little green pockets on the sleeves of your shirt hold some package of insect repellent?
