I love both your homes but I think the log home is my favorite. I love all your decorating but I prefer mostly rustic. I think that was a great idea to put a table in that space. It really opened up the room. 😊

Love the change in the breakfast area! We had 2 homes for over 22 years. One in the suburbs where it was our primary home and the other at the New Jersey shore. Yes….that beach one sitting vacant needed a good scrubbing when springtime rolled around. Always dealing with salt and dampness and sand. Sparse decorating there was a must as I couldn’t keep up with it and also enjoy our boating and beach time. 21 years ago we moved to Florida, one home and have gone with the beachy tropical vibe. Thanks for sharing your beautiful homes with us.

To the person who needs the prayers for her son. My husband was diagnosed with brain cancer and they were able to get it all out but it has now spread to his spine. We celebrate every day that we still have him. Life is short for everyone so you have to make the most of every day. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

We have two homes also for 20 years, and visit the lake home every other weekend. And i always forget what food I have for cooking 😅. I do have a cleaning crew that cleans every week and I LOVE it! So highly suggest getting someone to come in and clean a few times while you are gone. They can also let you know if problems have occurred…like broken AC, broken pipes, etc..

However, I could see the room painted white 🤍, with the black 🖤 and white 🤍 check, with a faux fireplace🔥they have some that look pretty REAL now! I love the table in that room. It doesn’t look crowded and you have room to move around. I have a round table in the kitchen nook plus a rectangle in the dining room. I use the round one much more often. It really looks cozy
