As a savings dream look how much it cost to make a home same space, old kitchen as the family room, 4 seperate bed spaces a kitchen, all this in cement and cement bricks and all surfaces smoothed over with cement..and simple everything else as is. This is a 40 to 100 year old structure that has a cement and rebar metal roof and yes this to has to be grounded...doors and windows have storm rain covers, solar panels, generators and batteries don't fly off. They to have wind and rain shear panels..can with doors and windows take a category 3 winds and rains.. my experience and I was in two category 5s praying and going to sleep with God..
