Good to see a younger generation willing to work and have someone to pass knowledge down to, very rare these days, you'll do fine, just go slow and steady, it's always better than tearing up your equipment trying to go hard and fast to make a few extra dollars.

Great to see this video. Wish my father was alive to see this as he would have loved it. He was an owner/operator in the late 70's then worked for Great Northern Paper in their woodlands division as an equipment operator. He finished his career teaching high schoolers how to drive class A vehicles. Like most, owner/operators he had those days. Everyone does. Wishing you good fortune on your endeavor. Keep up the great work.

That man is a terminal driver. He can only pull loads to a large parking lot and unhook. I guarantee he can never be taught. Some things can never be trained on a driver if they can’t figure it out on their own. He is a steering wheel holder nothing else.

@@jay2tymes258 no sir, I’ve been around truck drivers for over 20 years and you can tell very quickly if a driver will ever be a really good driver or just a steering wheel holder.

Good to see Bobby on video again, Justin no matter how many break downs and screw ups you have on the job it won't be anything Bobby hasn't seen or been through, that man knows he done worked in his life. If possible hiring a man like Bobby can make the difference in you succeeding or not, I've been farming for myself for 32 years now the advantages of having a person like Bobby on the job is not only can he keep the job moving he can see how what you doing today will impact the job a couple weeks or more down the road!! Also I love that you kept Bobby's theme song!! Joe South The Games people play In life you will understand and appreciate that song more and more!! Good luck bud hope it all works out!!

I drove truck for 19 years , the last job I had was hauling logs. I"ve seen it all. I would let that guy go. Dont cuss him out, just telling he needs to go haul boxes till he gets better at trucking. Keep at it man. Your young and strong you will make good in life if you hire the right hands and treat them better than family. They will make or break you. Good luck.

Experience is key in Driving especially Driving Big Rig and you learn from your mistakes but if someone just keeps screwing up over and over and not learning from there mistakes then you have no choice but to let them go because their mistakes are going to end up costing the company, but it looked like Barney phiff didn't show up to issue any citations for Blocking the Road way, I like this kind of content and will be looking forward to future video's.

I think when hiring people you need to test them on the spot for hooking up a trailer, unhooking, reversing, take them for a test drive and see what they do before hiring, where the truck ended up in the ditch was just plain lazy and stupid on the drivers behalf, I used to watch mr bobby alot on tv and now on youtube, he seems like a good honest man and won’t do you wrong, best of luck young fella
