One of many situations a driver faces on a daily basis. When I pulled logs many years ago I was blessed that I never faced a stopped vehicle directly in front of me but once. Thankfully there was room for me to take the shoulder of the road and barely get by without striking him. It was on a curve and he was making a left turn. I took the shoulder and hit some mail boxes and one road sign. When the cops arrived I wasn't charged with anything and the officer actually commended me for my evasive action. I was loaded at 79,000 pounds of tree length saw logs. Didn't hurt the truck and the shoulder of the road was sufficient that my truck didn't sink into it when I managed to stop. Had I jerked the wheel I am sure I would have rolled over. The pickup driver was an elderly gent who didn't even realize what had happened. Oh well my two cents worth. Mr. Wilbert's usual professional recovery. I will assure you when he hooks up something is coming with him...

Always enjoy your videos. Hal and Mr Wilbert are always staying busy with something! I'm a trucker, but man those logging trucks fly on those back roads. Seen many a log truck wreck. Those curves CAN BE dangerous as hell tho. I wasn't there so I can't say. Glad it wasn't as bad as it could of been.
