Yeah it definitely don’t matter what kinda truck tires you have in the logging woods we fight it all winter and after summer rains in the mountains of Southwest Virginia and Eastern Kentucky where we log. We run a cat 522B leveling track cutter pulling with 555D and 545D skidders.

Mr. Tim back in the early 90’s when my Dad sold Tires I saw a crew have to hook 2 skidder’s to the front and a dozier pushing to get them out after a rain south of Bogalusa, Louisiana.

You can put any tire you want on but when that red clay gets wet your gonna do nothing but spin. Little story . My husband and I went fishing out at a old strip mine pit . And the road was nothing but red clay. It came a small shower that lasted like 2 min . We spent all day winching just 200 ft
