Logan Model 200 Latheguard and a couple of other things

Flexbar Latheguard for the Logan Model 200 Lathe. Cutting Acme threads in 1144 "Stressproof" with the ELS. An ELS enhancement.

Jon, where did you get the lathe guard? Nice video. I am interested in the Half nut restored

I got it from eBay described as "unclaimed freight." I still came out ahead after buying a new lexan shield. I'm getting set up to be able to measure the actual force applied to the carriage by my Electronic Leadscrew drive. I am also curious to compare the rebuilt half nuts and whether the different friction coefficients will make a measurable difference. I plan to rebuild one each with bronze, Delrin and Ertalyte, then rebuilt the fourth with the one that turns out the best, keep a set as spares, and sell the other two.
