I worked in a store that sold this drink when it was initially released. Our store was considered small so we didn't get a large amount of it in our deliveries, and the small amount we did have would go instantly after being put out. The only people I ever saw come to buy it were kids around 8 years old or people a lot older than the target demographic looking to buy some to sell on at a higher price. We had young children lining up outside the store before it opened with their parents just to try to get a bottole, and this lasted for months. People would get aggressive when our stock ran out, and blame us even though we had no control over when we would get stock and how much we would even get. Truly made an already crappy job so much more unbearable

The school I work in actually came up with a school rule that prohibits selling prime drinks. I'm from germany and I was really confused when I started in a british school and witnessed 11 year olds dealing with softdrinks. Most kids selling them filled the empty bottle with water and sold them to fellow students 😂

As somebody who works at asda, this does not happen at all where we hide it to resell. whenever we get a shipment of prime, like today actually, everyone gets a sence of dread because as soon as one person is seen walking around with it you are swarmed with people asking you, we keep it in the back and let night staff put it out for the morning so we dont have to deal with customers. thats the only reason it stays in the back lol, also its grim.

Woah so that explains that. I live in rural Northern Ireland, the most middle of nowhere part of the UK, and was getting some isotonic energy drinks at my local supermarket (Asda). They had a section that said Prime Energy which I never seen before and it was fully out of stock, they even had out of stock stickers covering up the price. I've never seen that before in local shops, nothing ever goes out of stock. I pulled the out of stock label out so I could read the price behind it and it was £2 and then I was even more confused how the most expensive energy drink in the whole section was sold out when nothing ever sells out here, wondering who tf bought them. I just bought some Lucozade sport orange like a normal person. £2.50 for 4. Edit: HOLY SHIT 9:35 I never see Northern Irish people on youtube and then this guy is the prime guy on tik tok. I was in London a couple of weeks ago and there were a bunch of Prime bottles available for sale in the Off License shops in the Fitzrovia neighbourhood. There was no line up to get into the shops to get them.
