I mean, that doesn’t mean anything. He’s gonna have to have confidence no matter who he fights. People bring up him being confident like it’s a flaw just because he lost once. Like no, confidence is key, and whatever happens, happens. You win some, you lose some. But having no confidence will just guarantee your loss. Jj was also confident, but that means nothing. That loss could’ve easily been his as well. If Logan’s going in there with the will and mentality to ko Floyd, then that’s all that matters, no matter how unlikely it is. If he isn’t going in with that mentality, he’s setting himself up for failure. You can’t box someone humble and respectfully, you gotta go in the ring confident and ready to put it all on the line. I don’t think it would translate to mma lol, I can only think of a handful of MMA fighters who did the whole hands down thing (anderson silva, MVP, etc) and it actually working, and that’s down to their reflexes being superhuman. Boxing gives you and your opponent less ways to hit you so with hands down you can slip around the ring and dodge punches cause that’s the only thing that’s coming in a boxing fight, punches.
