The main "issue / problem" with these less expensive reels is longevity. Out of the box is one thing. 6 months and 100 trips later... hmmmm. I've also seen some of them (KZbin videos) start making noise and having casting issues on the third or forth cast! While $200 and more may have some quality advantages, most reels today over about $80 are pretty sound. I fish 5 - 7 times per week for 2 - 6 hours per day. All my newer reels are $80 - $200. They all are still really smooth, drags still functioning well, and no extra backlashes, although a couple need their yearly maintenance. Dust, pollen, etc. Thank you for posting and checking these reels out!

Don't make the mistake of buying one of their telescoping rods, they are hot bullshit. Having said that, all the other fishing gear I've bought from them has been dirt cheap and totally legit.

@@LoganAndersonFishing Exactly! Exactly what I want to see & know. Up Erie,,, trolling & jerk-drifting down deep, AT NIGHT, I'm always looking for 4"-5" or larger Glow-in-the-dark swim baits. (also test, line counter reels ;>) We Hit those 'glow' swims with a bright light, drop them down & FISH ON! I'd greatly appreciate a comparison on Temu's swim baits.? Durability, tail vibration, smell, (if they melt when applying bait scents & gels) & the luminescent colors, like how far down can you still see them in the water. How long do they hold the light? (& try the luminescent shrimps for night SALT fishing ;>) BTW,,,, When your testing those bait casters,,,, put a 10# weight on the ground, & see if the drags are smooth & IF they can pick up the weight!? & After you try them all,,,, take the best of the bunch, & tie the line to the back of a quad & TAKE OFF! Unspool them 5-6 times with a TIGHT DRAG. Then, we will know just how well made those reels really are! Like 'Project Farm' would do! It's really hard to believe anything your kinda testing & saying, when your getting paid by the company!? Do a REAL TEST & Prove me wrong.

Bought the umbrella rig pack from Temu. Put prob way too expensive soft plastics and jig heads in it, but the one time I’ve used it so far, I was in south Florida and landed a 1 pound LMB and a 3 lb peacock bass. Not bad so far!!!
