I recently bought temu baitcaster too I got one combo that's cast pretty good And then I found this reel by kastking and when I received it it has a shallow spool so I think it's a bfs reel

I was not sure which was better between kastking and piscifun reels so i watched some tests and comparisons between then and the piscifun won every time. Piscifun has strong American ties just like kastking and i have 2 piscifun casting reels. Stunning is all i can say. The one is not produced anymore but the piscifun carbon xcs is excellent for less than 50 dollars. Has both magnetic and cetrifugal brakes. Very lightweight and casts a countrymile. I must say though that the latest kastking reels seems very well made for a fair price.

When I lived up north, my favorite kind of fishing was to just walk up and down different streams and rivers with waders on when it was too cold, or just shorts and old shoes when it was in warmer conditions. Armed with a fishing creel containing various spinner baits, and a rod and reel and I was set to go! Many times I was more interested in catching trout, but for the most part, for anything that bites would have been more of my philosophy! Now that I moved to the south, I don't even see too many kinds of spinner baits in stores, unless they are specifically bass spinner beats, with the little arm that sticks out and has a spinner blade on it. I'm talking about regular spinners. They are kind of scarce down here! Did find a few though, I think rooster tails, and they were big, not too much unlike the old Mepps killer kits ones, but specifically for bass. I picked up a couple of them, whenever I can find a half decent body of water that doesn't have too much grass in it (and let's face it, there's not too many of those down here!) I'll throw them. Surprisingly I've been catching a lot of bass on plain spinners! I don't even know anymore (for myself anyway), but I actually think the spinners are even better than certain soft plastics. Sorry for the book long comment, but it was just my two cents, because it's something I really feel that is important to have in any fisherman's arsenal. And they're not just for trout anymore! Not the best sound in the world but you can definitely tell it's the sound of the drag being overworked. He even notes it and fixes the drag near the end. No reel with the drag set to 0 is going to make good sounds while trying to reel with it, it's a great way to ruin just about any reel.
