Traxxas Maxx - LED Light Kit Install

Un-boxing and installing the Traxxas LED Light Kit for the Maxx. Really simple upgrade to install. High and low beam head lights, super bright tail lights. Reverse and brake lights function too.

Papo Pagan Super easy dude just follow the instructions but you almost can install it with no instructions. I advise mounting the light bars first then run your wiring to where the amplifier is going to be mounted plug them in before you mount the power amp because it’s almost impossible to click them in the place that close to the motor.

Nice video thank you. Does port B remain unused? Can u plug a led light strip that uses a 3s plug in that open port?

You can turn on and off and also you can make it brighter if you want. Also you can turn off and on and control the brighness if you use traxxas link module and traxxas app on your phone.

So I know I probably won’t get an answer from you since you have no voice but maybe sign language reply please? Did you get the reverse lights to work or just the front headlight and rear tail light stop light? I can’t get the stop light to work when I stop or reverse light to come on when I back up. Do you have to install the Traxxas module to get more options and control?

Traxxas module does give you more options yes. I got it to work with that.

I have tail lights but no brake lights. Just stays red when I hit the brakes, doesn't get brighter like normal brake lights. Reverse works fine

Brent Roberts mine does the same. Not sure why
