That is really interesting. When I first started watching and saw the headrig, I was wondering what in the HELL are you doing? That ain't no way to saw a log! Now I get it.

Who is the manufacturer of the machine with double circular blade for the preparation of the logs?

Where is this? Are the logs scaled and graded prior to manufacturing? And howcome they don't peel them, don't you get more recovery that way, not to mention wider sheets?

Certain species reveal a more pleasing grain pattern when quarter cut or plain sliced, not rotary (peeled)..
