you should do an episode about the equipment the Boss uses. Types, sizes, brands and why he chooses a particular type. Even what tools he feels are a waste of time. he seems to use a limited amount of stuff.

I have watched many, many of your videos and am really impressed with your Dad's work ethic. He seems driven to work hard to provide for your family. I'm also impressed with how he seems to have instilled hat same work ethic into you kids. Though at times I know you all wish you were somewhere else you accept your responsibility and work hard. AND ...Your Mom is amazing...hard worker...driven AND I think the person who kept you kids in line all these years. I'm really glad you started this channel so we get to see how a really tight family pulls together to get by. A trait sadly missing in a lot of American family's today. Kudos to you all. One more thing....the main rule of every sawyer I know is to NEVER work alone....I think your Dad puts himself and all of you at risk when he does so. Stay safe!!!

Great videos!!! Please stay safe while standing in the danger zone. A dislodged limb from above can cause severe damage to ones person. What better excuse to purchase a hard had in your favorite color. I would also like to add that you have a good eye for camera angles. The effort of being out in the woods and hauling that equipment by hand is not easy but if you love what you do you've never worked a day in your life.

The Boss does not wear chaps, yeah, I know,he has been doing it this way for years., but he is getting older as we all do. At least get him a Crew Chainsaw Trauma Kit to carry with him, it's small and can fit on his belt. One slip on wet branches or mud can easily nick an artery on his leg, I know from experience and won't elaborate. Working by himself increases the risk expotentially too. Be safe, love the videos... Peace

My Father-In-Law explained to me that it was to keep the stumps as low as possible due to requirements, plus they were paid by the board foot back then and using the conventional face cut would take away from that as well so they used the humboldt. Plus it allowed the face cut to fall out when fully cut, something that was useful as the cuts became larger.

I thought Americans only did those upside down cuts when felling. You do it exactly the way we do it in Norway, same weather as well 😅 Only thing different is we don't go "whoo" when the tree falls. But we also fell the trees when they are much younger. So give us trees that big, and we might also let some excitement slip out 🤠
