That's a pulling joker right there we had a 640d in the 80s with a 8 speed power shift that thing was either going to pull the log or the cable was going to break or either the croker was gonna give out

Not trying to say what to do but y'all should get y'all a grapple skidder and up grade that cable been there done that those old 540b and 640d john Deeres lol

Grapple skidders are for a sepcific cut scenario. Definitely not good for hardwood unless you plan on ruining the bush pretty good. Most of the time the skidder doesn't even matter now thanks to how much of a mess the bunchers need to get in and do their work.
