on a hill like that one you are cutting, does the size of the Humboldt wedge make a difference in how the tree is able to fall? or is it more due to the other tree contact as they start to fall? that is stunning how consistent you get them to fall at the same angle for ease of collection.

Let’s the tree set without putting a wedge in the back to hold it so after you push the tree over you don’t have to walk back up and find your wedge or wedges

6 hours of cutting usually an hour drive each way and then we have to sharpen chains at night and get ready for the next day
