I check out a bunch of reactions when an interesting project drops, like Shawn Cee, Meami, etc. But Vibe Villa is my favorite of all. They tell me why the project is good, and not just shit on it. And you guys catch bars better than pretty much any other Channel I have seen so far. I am relatively new to hip hop, only been listening to rap music religiously for 2-3 years. So a channel like yours helps me understand bars and layers and rhyme schemes so much more. Thanks for the content and keep up the good work! I hope you guys also revisit older projects which were classics so that fans like me can go back and listen to them and appreciate them. Starting with Renegade.

I wouldn’t consider that a good thing. You basically just said you listen to people who say what you want to hear. I wouldn’t say these guys are bad for liking the album, I just believe that they did not point out negatives, which clearly outweigh the positive. However, to each their own, it’s cool if they like it and see little flaws in it. I just think you should broaden your views and listen to others because the album is very disliked for many valid reasons.

@@IImthinking You got it wrong. I am saying they are telling me why to listen to an album. Basically they help me understand what type of people might find it interesting by point out the positives. Since I am brand new to the genre, I am still finding my taste in rap and hip hop. So when they say "oh the album mostly got a party vibe to it with good bars" that tells me to give it a shot since I have found such projects quite fun to listen to. If I don't like it, I don't like it. But it won't be influenced by external opinions.

G-Eazy actually switched his styles. From Must Be Nice to These These Happen he was very chill. Then from When it’s Dark Out to B Sides he’s very wavy but turned into an generic rapper in the When It’s Dark Out era because of Me Myself. Then Him and I on The Beautiful and Damned.

His die-hard fans are really wrongly hating on this because they feel that they were played into thinking they were getting more Lost in Translation type songs on this album, when really it was 80% Bobby Tarantino stuff. Sean Yeah, At first I thought it wasn’t that bad but I find myself rarely going back to the album and find a lot of the lines corny. I’m a big logic fan and love the whole YS projects, UP, TITS, BT, BT2 and even like Supermarkey and YSIV. But COADM is his laziest album with some of his corniest lines. Some songs I go back to but other than that, not really. He says in BobbyWorld Part 1 that his next album is gonna be like his old work and very introspective, hopefully it won’t disappoint like this album did for me (he even said this was BT meets UP which got my hopes up for COADM)

Maybe I'm just stretching it but to me it made sense because, well the obvious part is cleats dig in the dirt and the other part would be if you watch soccer, the injuries are from cleats hitting people, by either trying to take the ball from someone or sliding in and hitting the other person, literally kicking then down and make them fall

It's definitely not YSIV (not that I expected to be), but I thought it was a solid effort.
