Man, this song hit home. It's hard to balance wanting to provide a better life for your kids than you had and spending quality time with them. Especially if you grew up with nothing. But having 2 kids myself and having just lost my father a few months ago, the most important memories I have of him are when we were just spending time together. Even if we didn't have money

Well ya, that's the only place anyone gets insight from is their experiences. My point was, just because you have strong experiences to draw from doesn't mean you can make other people understand you and relate while putting it into music. I just think Logic is unique in that way.

@@bobjo579 Yup, pretty much. Highly reflective people usually play out others points of view, lives and end up coming out with more of an understanding of others and themselves even if they might not agree with the person in the end. Most people just want to look inward and think they are right over all else. Even your enemies can teach you something, even if it is only patience.

As an 18 year old I grew up with parents that were working 24/7 just to provide us with what we needed. I honestly hated the lack of attention that my siblings and I got. Yet as I grew older, I started to understand the sacrifices my parents made for us and it made me appreciate that time that I actually spent with them. So this song really hits home for me as this is precisely the type of parent I’ll try and avoid to be for I want to experience everything I can with my children.

Andy Zyskowski in years? He’s doing that in his new album. Same thing? All the mainstream rappers “rap” about the same thing. Would you rather hear a message to where you can connect to or just some made up words and a hot beat? No disrespect to Wayne. I known Wayne before carter 1. But logic is a better rapper overall. Lyricism, delivery, flow? We all got different taste and we go have a different perception on how rap and life is. I can connect soo much to Logic’s music than to Wayne’s. Don’t get it twisted, I like to “turn up” myself. But at the end of the day, it all depends on preference. There’s nothing wrong with that, we aren’t less or more than anyone out there.

Wayne has a 23 track album that can't hold my attention for more than 13-14 tracks. These longer albums aren't for me. I waited for the Carter V forever and it was so hyped up that It didn't meet my expectations. I hyped up YSIV and it perfectly met my expectations, short and sweet so much that I am already begging for more Logic music. Both albums are good and I enjoyed both but the fact that YSIV is shorter it allows me to listen to it on the ride to work from beginning to end and be able to enjoy it. I've listened to it 15+ times just over the weekend. The Carter V has gotten one full listen from me because I have my favorites but I don't like every single song. Yeah i can sit there and cruise to it or just chill out and listen to it but its not something that grabs my attention every time i listen to it. If it didn't release on the same day as a lyrically better album like Logics. It could be different but longer albums aren't for me. I would rather have longer tracks. Under Pressure is an 8 min track that I listen to every single time it comes up in my shuffle. Thank you is a song to the fans and Last Call is just one of them tracks but if Cole did it yall would be alright with it as it shows. The rest of the other songs pass by without me feeling like I am just dragging through them. By the 20th track, I was asking myself whether this Wayne album was ever gonna end. (This is a biased opinion but more content does not always mean better.)

I’m only like half way through the video, but this song really seems like it’s about Frank Sinatra and his relationship with Nancy, Frank Sinatra Jr., and Nancy Jr. there’s a lot of similarities including the fact that Sinatra died from cancer. Anyone else agree?
