Your point about the difficulty of explaining these modules in isolation is well made and you have, as usual, provided very clear explanations. Vielen dank!

i just want to know how to use the logic modules. when programming things in c++ you typically use logical operators in if statements and then you have 2 different branches, one for condition was met and one for condition was not met. but these modules only give you the answer true or false and you have to use that as a signal in some way, so it's hard to wrap my head around it

WELP. Brilliant explanations and examples. He's a great teacher. But Helpful? Nope. But that's only because I'm limited in imagining how I could possibly use this.

Hi.I am starting to use Bitwig an interesting program.I have a question. In the modules, there's a "module" called "sampler". Do I understand correctly that if I use this module, then VST (virtual instruments: guitar, piano, trumpet, etc.) will not be needed? That is, you can add any sound/sampler and create melodies. I just don't understand how to add my own samplers? Just put them in a folder or what? Could you please elaborate on how to work with this module? Or if there is already such a video tutorial, could you send me the link? Of course, you can create your own sound, but it's a long time and you have to experiment a lot. And so, add any sound and create any melody you want. Thanks for the video.

How does bitwig treat audio/phase signals plugged into modules that expect logic signals? Does it consider every value =1 to be 1? Or anything 0.5 considered 1? Or something else?

For me its more Logic if OR is named "all 1 = 1" - because 0 OR 0 is not 1. And XOR named " only 1 = 1", Nand ist "00, 01, 01 = 1"...maybe don't know :D

XOR = Exclusive OR Also pronounced "Exclusive OR"

you can use merge, split or select modules to branch out and use the logic modules as a condition

@@BitwigGuide i think that would make a logical operator tutorial really finished. cause people wanna know how to use the information that they gathered by comparing things. say you want something to happen to notes only if the note is above another note.. how to sorta pass this logical gate into something else that also gets the midi input and transforms it only then
