Thanks so much for this… I’ve watched your 12 hour vocal production ,Compression, EQ, reverb and mixing courses and I can’t get enough of them. I always try to watch through the ads to pay you back in a small way and like and subscribe of course, I just needed to express how seriously indebted and grateful I am for these educational videos as a creative music production student. ❤

Make sure you turn on advanced features or you won't be able to follow along. Another tip for the not exactly tech geniuses like me, the arrow keys on your keyboard (up, down, back and forward cursor arrows) will allow you to back the video up in 5 second increments. Maybe everybody in the world already knew these things except me. And, wow, this is an amazing offering, thank you so much!

I’ve tapped out a beat that I captured without a metronome so my beat is slower than the track tempo. How do I keep my beat tempo and slow the track down to my beat speed while the audio stays the same tempo. Essentially no change in the track audio while I change the track tempo to the speed of my drums.

Not THAT many differences between logic X and 11. I'd say Logic 10.5 was a bigger update. I didn't watch this course yet but I guess it'll be useful for you. You can also grab a copy of David Nahmani's book on Logic, it's good.

does anyone know how to make the tempo show just 120 instead of "120.0000"? Sure, I can get it to do that if I change it to "beats and time", etc, but why in the hell is "custom" not actually custom?? I want to see all of the information, but I don't want to see every decimal point if my bpm is a nice even number ...
@scottlalexander5102 ай бұрын
If you open the the control bar you can customize the display and it will reduce the control bar and only show the tempo as 120 or whatever meter you choose.
