This is by far the best synthesis/synthesizer tutorial video out of 30+ that I’ve watched.

This goes back, but I remember drums in the 80s suddenly sounding amazingly powerful, and I hated most of it. I'd go back and listen to JH Experience and think "That's real, as if they're playing in my room (or in my head)". Subjective indeed.

LFO seems like it acts just like how a tremolo effect works in a guitar amp. We even call the names the same, speed and intensity

sure, my only real problem is, when i hear like kanye track i can actually feel the music and the vibrations opposing to mine, are there like some binaurial processing or something that im missing?

Are we supposed to hear changes when you're tweaking the 1st Reflection Delay while its level is set to 0 (muted)? Or is that how it works? 5:44

I think you understand the final output but to me. Your clipping and not adjusting volume. So from a student perspective you aren’t doing us justice. Not gain staging.

Yeah, i agree with countless comments from “lay people” like me. Though this might seem damn easy for this chap, it’s all “french” to me! Where and who can it explain it more on the very elementary explanation on why i should buy this app? Because I am very interested and intrigued about this application. But I need to understand it so I can benefit from it!

Does phase issue just occur in the stereo recorded instrument? Can phase issue occur between two mono recorded instruments and moreover in two stereo recorded instruments also?

The editing for the reverb demo is really terrible. You chop around before the tails even die out, how are we supposed to hear the quality of the reverb?

Wonderful content. I am pretty good at “naturally” finding rogue frequences, (I am 73 and have been doing it over 50 years), but have never used the boost method to search out resonance frequencies. It seems so obvious now!!!

Is the Quantec similar to UA's Soundcity reverb plugin? I've never heard of Quantec, and I love the Soundcity so if Quantec has a comparable room simulation, it can replace my UA when I eventually don't renew my Spark subscription.

If they made the new reverb plugin available for everyone then why isn't chormaglow and stem separation not available for Intel based computers?!
@gengraded6 күн бұрын
agreed :(
@warrenburroughs30256 күн бұрын
I can't speak for Apple but my assumption is that Chromaglow and Stem Separation use some functions of the M chips that is not available or compatible with Intel chips. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised that I could access all the features of this update on my i9 Mac, I thought they would be M chip only. I'll take that.
@YashOnTheBeat6 күн бұрын
@warrenburroughs3025 I'm using spectralayers for stem separation and there are a ton of distortion plugins out there.
@YashOnTheBeat6 күн бұрын
@@warrenburroughs3025 to be honest bro I call BS on this. Studio One, FL Studio, Cubase (through spectralayers) have all managed to provide whatever new features they have added to their daws for all platforms. I can understand these new features being slower on Intel Macs but at least let us have these.
@xwind34996 күн бұрын
It takes a lot more processing power than what is available via intel. If you're still using intel on a mac in late 2024 thats kinda on you dawg. M series chips are muchhh better
