Great vid, thanks, have subscribed. One question: my understanding is that the Distortion switch in the Logic compressors only affects signals when they hit 0dB. So unless your signal is about to clip it won't do anything? That's certainly what the manual implies? CHeers

Good question. I think if you try this out you will find that the switch starts colouring the signal as soon as it crosses the threshold and even before. Let me know what you think. Cheers for you comment too.😀

Hi there. Thanks for the question. To change the background colour, in the top menu go to Logic>Preferences>Display> Choose Tracks from the top tabs then under Appearance choose your background colour. Hope that helps. Cheers.
