No sampler edit, no step sequencer control, no dmd either and no automation drawing help on the pad while one is using a pencil. And what about using multiple logic remotes? A long way to go still but closer to a maschine or live push experience.

Thank you thank you thank you your review has definitely made up my mind the way you move through each individual feature was concise and simplified just the way I like and the look I am familiar with using GarageBand and in the past was uneasy about using logic considering I'm a visual artist as well as growing up with a mother being an Visual artist and art educator but the new look and the flow with the pencil and the iPad Pro larger screen is definitely the way to go not only for app on the go but for also like you said to use as your main control pad (midi) for desktop tactile feel and flow thanks again for helping me cross over to the light LOL Iam no producer by any means but I haven't been able to find someone yet to produce the music (voc) that burns inside and then there is marketing .... I digress anyways thanks again.....learn to love to learn it's all I do

This is the first Im hearing of this , thank you . question :can I set this up with a 2017 iPad into an early 2015 MacBook pro ? Also will this work using just GarageBand ? or do you need to upgrade to logic pro for your MacBook? Thanks . since you have the mixers, if you set your track mode out of "read" and hit record, any volume, panning, or instrument adjustments will be recorded live. So anything you can control with the ipad, you can automate.

No, it connects via Wifi. So anyone with an iOS device can download the app and join the session. Not sure if it allows more than one connected remote device at a time.
