Thanks for the great videos! At 11:10 the eclipse shows an error on line 18 where there is the JSTL tag. At 11:17 the error magically disappears - but you did not care to explain why? I know the answer, but wish a few seconds would have been spent to explain how JSTL use could be made possible

Good tutorial, Also explain, how to defeat back button functionality globally, and what shall we do if we try to check the attribute in session which is already invalidated, it throwing session already invalidated error... Nice Video, but I fail to understand how welcome.jsp has access to identifiers from the login servlet. (For example at 9:49 you have access to the session object.)

jsp are converted servlets only and a servlet can access the current session that is why jsp can acces the session object

We don't need to use XML file here. Double click on your server and in "Server locations" you need to select "Use Tomcat Installation".

Hi, Can you please guide me in case we have more than login functionality , i.e. login, shopping cart, admin,etc. How can we map multiple controllers to different urls. what should be there in web.xml and what should be there in each servlet controller.
