02:07 you don't need to do this unless you really *REALLY* need to isolate the PCB. if you just want to clean the top, then do not touch the center screw.

EDIT: I did it. It was totally just dirt. The controller works FLAWLESSLY the put back together part was very difficult I gotta say. So start this project with time as you will spend maybe 30 minutes to an hour just trying to put back together everything. It should not be pressed or forced it will naturally work and close without any force needed. OLD:thank you my friend. I have this exact same issue out of nowhere. I believe its is due to the dpad being totally open from exterior dirt. because I dont eat and play or leave it in a dirty place yet it still managed to get dirty. Im pretty sure its dust collecting. tomorrow ill try it after I had some sleep.

Tbh since this video exists, it’s basically raised the value of the F310 because now you can be sure of how to repair it in case of a common issue that might come up down the line

Dang, I was hoping there was an easy way to replace/clean the buttons of the analog sticks. Mine don't register most inputs anymore

darn, sorry to hear. don't think the analogs are actually replaceable too? might need to talk to logitech support if it's still under warranty or retire it and find a new one if it's not.
