Thank you, I was using the button to manually switch my input between my MacBook and Windows PC... Now I can just drag the mouse on the edge, and there's even option to bring along the Keyboard input too. My setup is Logitech Pebble 2 (Combo: Mouse, Keyboard, Logi Bolt included), both are connected to the MacBook via Bluetooth, and to my PC as second device via Logi Bolt. Glad I found this video.

I had to use two separate receivers in order to get it to work bt wasn't working.

You need to update this video. Logitech Options has changed how the enable-flow screen works. It's no longer a matter of clicking on a screen switch; rather, it's now a button you have to click that says "Enable Flow". They've dummy-proofed the process, and in the process have rendered the connection process less visible.

Do you need 2 physical displays? I currently have on widescreen display with multiple inputs . I was hoping this app created a virtual display for the other computer. Ie I’m on my Mac, drag the mouse the edge of the screen, and the screen changes from Mac’s desktop to the Windows desktop. That way, I’m on one computer but controlling two with one keyboard, mouse, and display.

I’ve had it working for like 30 minutes with my M1 MacBook and M3 MacBook. Then one of them went to sleep mode. Then everything broke, and it’s impossible to reconnect them. I hard restarted everything, erased all data of software from both devices, reinstalled the mouse on different ports. Nothing works. Nothing.

I'm not aware of that. Having a keyboard would make flow way better though. It frustrates me not to have a Logitech keyboard but the Logitech Flow works fine for me without it.

You need to buy the MX Keys to have your keyboard Change as well. I haven't bought the keyboard yet but I would highly recommend if you are going to be using flow a lot!

Yes that is the setting out of the box. I find it frustrating sometimes when I move my mouse around fast so I want to get the MX Keys so I can change the settings to hit control and move the mouse to the next screen. I'm jealous you are getting the MX Keys 🤣

Very informative video! I’ve set up Flow and the mouse moves between two MacBooks just fine - around 1s delay I would say. Not a big deal for me. However, the copy and paste function does not work. I tried to copy and paste a docx file and it shows up on the other MacBook for one second and when I click on it, the file just disappears. Also tried to copy and paste text, it doesn’t work at all. I followed the troubleshooting steps on logi support and checked the firewall setting as well, everything seems to be set right but copy and paste just doesn’t work - any ideas how to fix?

Hey Bethany, I’m not sure. I’ve been able to copy and paste fine even with large files. There is a new beta for Logitech options + maybe it would work with the new software?

I'll have to check. I did one recently around 1 GB and it handled it fast. It uses wifi for the transfers I believe so it transfers files fast!

Same situation as you and it does work but a bit laggy when moving mouse to one computer to the next… might try putting them both on Ethernet to see if this fixes the lag

Hi, I hope you can answer some questions for me? when pairing the mouse to 3 computers, pair the first one computer using the unifying receiver and using channel one, the second computer on channel two via Bluetooth, and the third computer on channel 3 via Bluetooth, is this correct? You can't pair all 3 computers to the mouse using the Unifying Receievr?? Thanks for any help you give to help me understand this section of pairing in Flow setup!

I get it that both machines have to have Options installed, and be on the same Wifi network. What if one of the machines is on the same network, but plugged in via Ethernet? That is my setup and it seems that this means it won't work, since one of the machines isn't "on the same wifi network".

Hello, I have been trying to pair my mouse to both a mac and a pc at the same time. I tried putting the USB into the pc and using Bluetooth for the mac. With the PC, I had to add a "unifying device" in Logitech Options. I don't know what I did wrong, but I cant pair them both at the same time

By pairing, do you mean to just hv the mouse registered? If so, my mouse is paired on both laptops. but I cant enable flow. I am using the same wifi already and hv tried enabling flow on both laptops.

@@jennifer6710 On the Mac: in Security & Privacy, select Input Monitoring, add "Logi Options" and restart the computer, then try again to enable Flow on both computers.

@@Pulpswo did you connect your mouse via bluetooth to the laptop first? You'll have to connect the mouse to each computer. You'll see there are 1-3 on the bottom of the mouse. #1 is for a usb plugin to your computer. #2 & 3 are for bluetooth connection. Hold down the button under the mouse till it starts blinking then open up your Bluetooth settings and try to connect the mouse. Hope this helps ☺️

I accidentally deleted a comment. The error where you are unable to use flow unless you go under the mouse and change it's Bluetooth connection is not normal. If you have already connected the mouse to both computer on different settings on the mouse (USB dongle, Bluetooth 1, Bluetooth 2) then you should be able to enable Logitech Flow on both computers and they should be able to find eachother. Let me know if you are still having issues.

I have an MX Master 3S mouse with one Bolt adapter that I want to use with two computers - Macbook pro 16 M1 with bluetoth 5.0 and Windows 11 with bluetoth 4.2 and between these two laptops I use the Flow function - what is the best way for me to connect this mouse via bluetooth or Bolt adapter? Have you been trying to connect the mice through Bluetooth? Hold the button on the bottom of the mouse for 5 seconds till it starts to blink and then you should be able to connect the mouse to your computer ☺️

It doesn't really "Flow".. It takes like 3 seconds to move from one computer to the other which is pretty impractical for most workflows. Better off downloading software like Synergy for a more seamless experience
