Good on Logitech for making these buttons and switches more affordable. Before this kit was released, the only options were insanely expensive; along the lines of $60 for one single button or switch. Now they 12 buttons/switches along with pads and straps for them for $100. Great job on bringing down that cost for the buttons/switches Logitech.

My right hand is partially disabled, and i can't play well specific games i like, such as rhythm games. To play some of them, i have to hold the keyboard on my lap, but it still hurts to play in longer sessions. Seeing this project makes me happy, seeing that people will be able to have fun with what they like, no matter their limitations. Thanks, Logitech and Microsoft!

Were you able to get on the site and find a controller layout that works for you? Also I hope that you and your family and friends are safe and well and continue to be so during these crazy times! Have a great day! 😀

THANK YOU! A spinal injury has rendered my hands unreliable and the bigger buttons and adaptability is going to be so helpful. I also have a lot of pain in my thumb from arthritis so getting my hands to do what I want is hit or miss and bigger buttons mean more hits. EDIT: Well, I got it and I LOVE it! Cannot thank you enough!

I am a 40 year old who spends most of my day programming. I still have to look at the keyboard to find the keys due to severe central processing disorder. This has made playing many games very difficult. I am crying after watching this video. I just want to say thank you.

Who can dislike a great video like this? This about gamers, all gamers coming together. Disabled, or not, when it comes to the games we are all together in this.

I didn't even realize this controller was made specifically for nerds with handicaps in mind. I thought it was just a really sick controller for nerds when I got it! This video was beautiful by the way. And the controller is sooo much fun for anyone too. I'm about to order a 2nd one to connect Them and see where that goes. But props for making this and to all gamers.

Hey guys are you Logitech as in mouse makers? The red ball trackman fingertip mouse is the ONLY one I have been able to use, and has been popular for many years with many elder users with hand issues...I can use it all day and actually work. It has not been upgraded for wireless, and fails with a dongle on USB C newer machines. Also a scroll would be nice...change the shape not at all, the cleanable ball, it is just elegant. I have now bought more than 8 other mice trying, but nothing comes close to the functionality of this mouse. I even bought a second computer, going back to the more solid USB connection. You need to realize that this mouse is great for no hand strain, no clunky second part, but also a lot of us are supine (bed-bound) much of the time. I built a business with the internet, laptop (because I could put it in my lap, lol)...and your mouse. PLEASE...I am so frustrated...it is like someone takes away all the pens and pencils and says "write a book" frustrating to not have this design stay part of your line. You cannot imagine how scary it is to lose everything because the technology is getting harder to use "by planned obsolescence." Please, please, please! If there are other fingertip trackball users our there, please speak up!

This is fine for consoles where all players are limited to using a controller that is essentially a next gen joystick but what about pc? I have yet to see an adaptive controller set anywhere that is even remotely competitive with a PC keyboard & mouse. As a C5 quad (I can move my arms but not use my fingers) and I lifelong PC gamer, this is enormously frustrating.

Something doesn't add up quite right... The Microsoft Adaptive Controller was announced in May 2018 - According to this very video, MS approached Logitech _before_ it was announced so from the release date of this video is now November 2019 so _at least_ 20 months ago. 20 months to design, test and evaluate three buttons, a trigger, and some strap-on accessories? Uhh... Wat?
@MaestroDK5 жыл бұрын
It takes some time to do test, redesign and new tests of things like this. Especially so with a target group that may have quite different (and varying) requirements compared to the majority of gamers.

When is this going to be available in the Asia-Pacific? Or at least Australasia? Because it isnt yet and your excluding a market of at least 25 million 10% of which at least have disabilities. it is discriminating and disabling do not sell this on your website in New Zealand and it's also against constitutional laws. It's called indirect discrimination.
