Semi-in depth dive into my Logitech G29 settings/ Assetto Corsa
If you want to still use LUT settings i recommend RasmusP's however, i really recommend you steer clear of lut, ffb clip, anything alike because its just not consistent. I dont have any issus with my wheel and im driving in VR so im just running on blind faith the wheel is doing what it should be doing and with the new settings i have linked at the top, its always perfect. So its up to you! Read this race department and mess about with settings for months like i did. Or just copy my newest ffb settings, custom shaders settings and video settings above and have consistent feedback throughout. NOTE; YOU WILL NEED TO RESET ALL YOUR INGAME ADJUSTMENTS WHEN YOU CHANGE SETTINGS (at times id jump into a car id previously driven with LUT and the ffb ingame was 600% and boy it was noisy. so make sure to drop ingame ffb gain back too 100% again)
To find information on LUT/Settings I built mine from go to the Race Department link below (Where Mine are pretty much identical, I just have a few different values due to Content manager)

Thank you bro! Glad its helped! I've just created a share link for my FFB settings for G29 on Content Manager/Assetto Corsa. So if you feel like the wheel isnt quite right, Save your settings as a pre-set and then try mine here: My FFB Settings - acstuff.ru/s/NennSu (save them as a pre-set just incase you want to return to old settings) You will also need "RasmusP's LUT" for G series wheels in order to utilise the G wheels as best as possible. Use his recommended LUT which is called "G25+G27+g29_NoClipButStronger_recommended.lut" and then use my acstuff link with my content manager settings. And please let me know if you think these are decent settings or you get confused at all! Happy to help! I solely play Assetto Corsa now with these settings, its night and day between any car game, its just not worth playing anything else aahaha

I solved the problem, it was a load volt problem, you just had to connect the steering wheel socket to direct current and not to a power strip so that it receives the necessary volt current, otherwise the calibration does not even work if it is recognized by the computer or the console

I can confirm, this problem still exists with a Dec 2023 manufactured unit, and this video is the fix everyone needs. I will also try with a new g hub version with all the other fixes mentioned here, if that also works.

My in-game steering wheel always only turns a little, although my steering wheel often over-turns because I play at 900 degrees. solution?

Is it driving right and its just visually that in game wheel only turns a little? Some cars don't have accurate steering wheels, if it's just that the ingame first person pov wheel isn't rotating as much as your input you might find it easier in the next camera angle where the wheel isn't visible Other than that, check through settings to make sure all the ac and content manager settings are set to 900°

can you help me? my g29 force feedback on content manager it was not working, i was trying to reduce the gain ffb to 50% but it feels like the deafult settings, and when i play with the asseto with a drift car, it didnt counter steer

No Lut, no wheel check, no need, super simple, super consistent. And the actual car set up will matter alot too

I did everything but it doesn't work when I enter the race the ffb disappears and it doesn't work it happened from one day to the next and I don't know what else to do

You unplugged the wheel, then unistalled and deleted all files related to logitech everywhere on the pc, RESTARTED the pc, installed ghub then plugged in the wheel? This is how I fixed it, as recorded here, this is a second hand wheel too, so if done correctly should work completely. If it isn't working either the ffb settings are wrong or the wheel is broken I'm afraid. However I doubt it is broken, rather it's just the logitech software being cack. You'll get the hang of it. Perseverance is key. Took me 4 months to get to this point

@@ChaseAndRaven Thanks for the support but it doesn't work I've done everything you said and it doesn't work I've seen 5 more tutorials and even so it's not the steering wheel that's broken because I've tested it in other games and it works it could be the settings but I don't believe it because I copied yours I don't know what to do anymore the wheel is hard but when I enter the game it turns off the ffb

does this fix bump issue? i had g920, with kurb bump at 0, it was at 0. this wheel still has it, seems like it will break it when im racing and go over kurbs racing lines.. un playable in 4wd car as the wheel just shakes when i throttle and feels like its gona break

Hey! I have a 2022 manufactured g29, does the software version have to be the same year as the manufacture date or does it work with the one in the video?

You should be good to use updated Ghub, I'll update soon enough with a better quality video as I've just moved the rig around and I need to get my FFB set back up. Also on the plus side I understand obs a lot lot better now so it'll be a lot smoother of a recording :)

@@ChaseAndRaven and ive been using the latest ghub, the shift lights doesnt work and the ffb doesnt, both works on ps5 but doesnt on pc, been having this problem since i bought it back in july 2022, though the centering spring works

I don't have that issue I'm afraid. When you're following this video step by step, do you unplug the wheel, Uninstall and delete all logitech files then restart the pc, install ghub and then finally plug the wheel back in last? Also forget wheel check and lut Generation! They're crap! Look to my newest videos for consistent settings that you can fine tune each with increase/decrease ffb bound to keys

At what point does it make your g923 shake? Is the wheel unplugged for the entire time your unistalling, deleting all the logitech and ghub folders? And then once everything's unplugged, unistalled and then deleted, you've restarted your pc and then installed ghub and then finally re plugged in the wheel?

@@LemzStudioz acstuff.ru/s/RXDJMl Try my FFB Settings, you can turn down extra affects like kerb, road, slip and abs, if its too much vibrations. These wheels are geared so they're never gonna be perfect. Have you got RasmusP's LUT for G series wheels? Google RasmusPs LUT if you dont, should find a racedepartment page thatll give you a download for luts and settings and then you can use my content manager settings just to finish it off

Do you have filter at 12/14%? It's does still oscillate slightly when you completely let go of wheel whilst driving in a straight line on half the time but it's because these wheels aren't direct drive or belt driven. They're not perfect. Let me record and upload a new video over the next hour. I'll go into a shutoku server and drive in a straight line and let go so you can see how my ffb works

I'm sorry you're having issues still, make sure to follow along completely, I did no movie magic, this is 30 mins of exactly how I get my ffb back when it disconnects. However I will say I have new settings now for content manager, check my latest videos description for settings link and hopefully that will fix it for you
