Logitech Force Feedback Settings Assetto Corsa - Logitech G25/G27/G29/G920/G923

This tutorial shows you how to adjust the Force Feedback on Logitech steering wheels (DFGT, G25, G27, G29, G920) so that you have more feel and control. We're using RasmusP's LUTs so a big thank you and shoutout to RasmusP for creating these as they're a complete game changer for Logitech users. So big thanks to both of you. You made it easy for us to follow. Great job on this tutorial. Made my aging Logitech run so much better with AC. For anyone that plans to follow this (and I do recommend it) please note that there are additional settings not mentioned in the video, but these are included in the package that you d/l at Race Dept. Not only has this improved the driving greatly, it got me to learn about some of the settings that were foreign to me, so now I can tweak things to my liking.

If you have the content manager option “Ffb tweaks” be sure to turn it off or tweak it correctly, I have a G27 and forgot about that plugin, once I turned off I got instant improvment, looking foward to configure it correctly.

What does lut affect in game ffb?? Does it make better ffb or what? What is the difference?

It effects how the wheel behaves (how strong it is for each degree of rotation). It sort of makes the wheel have less of a deadzone in the center and the feedback is more progressive and it won't clip if you tune it like it should be.

Is this steering setting still realistic or does it just helps you get better drifts ?

I mean realistic is a bad way of putting it since the Logitech steering wheels are beginner wheels and don't have a lot of force or feel, but these settings will make the wheel a bit more realistic and provide better feedback (as much as the wheel can anyway). As for drifting, it's all practice really. I can drift with the settings, without, whatever. It's just a matter of getting used to it, but once you know how to drift, you can drift pretty much anything (assuming it's RWD obviously).

This is all I have done, as shown in the video. I suggest resetting the wheel to default or uninstalling and installing the software again, then try this.

Sure thing. Monitor is LG 32GN600-B. It's a 32 inch monitor, resolution is 2560x1440p and it's 165Hz. Hope that helps!

Not too sure as I haven't used G HUB, but I think it should be under settings somewhere (look for devices and select Wheel). Don't worry too much about it though, if you haven't changed anything it should be default anyway. Plus I think G HUB has less things you can change anyway.

To tell you the truth I have no idea, it's some old Logitech from like 10 years ago. It was $20, that's why I got it. Any joystick will do as a handbrake. I can make a tutorial about how to set it up as a handbrake if you're interested.

If you mean things like body roll and suspension, this is just the mod, it depends on the car and the tune you do in game. You can't really change car behaviour from the manager.

What did you change? If all you did was change what I did, you can just disable the LUT and make the steering wheel mode to GAMMA in Content Manager, it'll reset to stock. Your wheel shouldn't shudder because of these settings tho, I've never seen that happen. Try other cars/tracks.

So for the Ghub you won't have a global device setting tab, but I think you'll have the same options if you select the steering wheel device, and then go into Steering Wheel. You'll see sensitivity, centering spring strength, etc., basically most of the same settings. You can always download the profiler but I'm not sure how they would react together. Regardless, you can leave it stock and just do the LUTs as recommended in the video, you'll get pretty much the same result since the stock defaults are the same, the only thing I really recommend doing is disabling the center spring.

It's impossible for this to break your wheel. You can always just click reset to defaults. This setting literally does nothing more than change how and when the wheel delivers force feedback. It doesn't make it stronger (even if you wanted it to, it can't), on the contrary, it prevents clipping and making the feedback more consistent with less clipping (hitting max force and losing feel).

The tracks are named in the timestamp for the video, but the one in the intro is VIR (Virginia International Raceway), the one in the outro is VDC Wall Stadium NJ and Ebisu Kita. The car is ACDFR Ford Mustang RTR (rev 2.0) as part of the ACDFR car pack 2022.

You should already have it in that folder, there's no need to create a new one. Just edit the old one.
