I've played cs:go with this mouse since last summer and I've never had a single problem with it! It is also nearly indestructible, i carry it around a lot and bang it around in my school bag every day and i have dropped it so many times of my desk and it still works! I also rarely turn it off and the battery is still amazing. ***UPDATE*** It is still working and great! xD i might be getting a g900 to replace it anyway though because i have been playing cs a lot more competitively recently. Edit: lmao "play cs competitively" bitch you never got above MG1 😂 Still use the mouse everyday tho, the new 604 is tempting but I guess there's no need to fix what's not broken

I have this mouse since around 6 months and I give it 5 stars : - Design : quite sober and very nice. Good thing it's not one of these mouses that borrow heavily from a futuristic batmobile - Autonomy : I never turned it off and the included batteries lasted 2-3 months. Need I say more ? Yes having reloadable AA batteries is advisable instead of using disposable ones but who doesn't have any ? - Ergonomy : very comfortable to handle (use it for a few months and go back to a classic mouse... you see the difference in ergonomics...), the side buttons are very well placed, the mouse doesn't risk slipping from you hand or anything like that. Good, good and good. - Performances : well since I don't see any lag or anything like that, nothing to complain about. - Quality of build : after 6 months it still looks new, no sign of fatigue or damage with time. - Included program : shared with other Logitech hardware so it's very convenient. Alright you can't place mouse clicks in macros you program. Yeah, just to pick a tiny little something, hopefully it will be patched in an update (such as a recent update allowing steps of 50 dpi instead of 500, allowing me to make a near-logarithmic speed from the 5 levels)
@Duke_of_Lorraine9 жыл бұрын
***** I don't have the 502 so I can't tell... but according to some tests, the differences in ergonomy is that the 602 is for bigger hands than the 502. Which is fine for me but if you hesitate, you should go to a big electronic store and test them, if by luck both are exposed.

If you're hardcore gaming and you want every single bit of your action to be precisely put into and just overall the ultimate gaming mice out inthe market play then go for the G502 (I'm loving mine, and the free scroll is superbly useful for browsing) as for the G602 it is also great, you really can't differentiate it from the G502 besides than it being wireless. Overall anything that Logitech makes doesn't fail well except for their keyboards honestly but going back to which mice you should choose. I say go for the G502, unless you wanna be free from the wire then go to the G602. No matter what option you choose you'll never regret doing it.

Coming back to this video about 4 months after I got my G602. This is long but if you are looking into this mouse give it a read. Absolutely amazing! It does have excellent battery life which I was expecting to be flubbed by Logitech's marketing and though it might be a bit less than advertised, I could not tell you how much because I have only swapped the batteries twice. I am a big FPS player and I would not go to any other mouse that does not have macro buttons. Something different about the macroing at lease to my experience is you dont actually macro in the game. In the software you set what you want the buttons to report as. 1 2 3 4 R and Ctrl for for various gadgets reload and crouching. I didnt have to adjust any in game settings for this which is nice if you let a buddy hop on your PC every once in a while and they dont use the macros. The weight is heavy with 2 batteries installed but I see this as a plus and not a negative, I love the amount of mass that is moving around and if you have a good mousepad the teflon feet make it glide like on ice. Endurance mode cuts the polling rate to 125Hz so that is how you get that long battery life, DO NOT forget to switch this to Performance mode if you get into a game like Battlefield. I have forgotten and the buttons dont always register fast enough and has gotten me killed. Flip the switch though and back no top with zero noticeable lag. Great MMO mouse as well of course. I have been playing the ESO beta and created a different macro profile and since that game doesnt have as large of a toolbar/macro bar, this thing is perfect. I do wish it had some real led lighting capabilities but that is very very minor and will trade for a very good wireless gaming mouse with great battery life.

Here's why this mouse fits ME perfect: #1: no cable to mess up your killshot when it's in the way. #2: perfect for my claw-grip. (My old m65 rgb from corsair was not comfortable at all) #3: my medium hands can reach all the buttons but g10 is just a tiny bit of a stretch. Not using macros anyway tho. #4: thumb-rest is very good. #5 : VERY stable, unlike some mice i could tip to one side or the other depending on feet placement. #6: Never had a single glitch with tracking or clicks due to wireless, and i live in a densely populated area with tons of interferrence. #7: do i need to mention the insane batterylife? The ONLY issue i have, even tho it's not a real issue, is that i would like it to be rechargable with usb in the front, as to not depending on people to produce more battery waste. I KNOW many of you throw AA batteries in the regular trash. SHAME on you.

I mainly play fps, and the 6 side buttons are perfect to bind abilities to them, as well when I'm not playing a game i have them set up to functionalities like: copy, paste, new tab, next tab, etc. The software it comes with is super easy to use. THE BATTERY LIFE IS AMAZING. I literally do go months without switching batteries, and i never turn it off, nor do I have it in endurance mode. I can feel no "lag" between pressing the mouse and seeing it register on screen, It's just a perfect mouse than can compete with wired mice. 10/10, would recommend

I can't even feel the difference between Performance and Endurance mode 500Hz vs 125Hz. I'm using G602 for 5-6 months and I'm using it on 125Hz all the time. I tried 500Hz for some time, but I can't feel the difference no matter how hard I try, even gave it to a friend who is pro fps gamer and hates wireless, and he doesn't notice the difference. For the battery I have to say it's amazing. On 125Hz with that Duracell batteries it lasted me for........About 3-4 months. Yeah, you heard me. I use this mouse for a month already and I can confirm that it works flawless till now. It`s super comfortable, for FPS and for RPG, the side buttons are easy to use to and overall you have that feeling that you own something very solid and expensive and maaaaan I miss that in the new Razers. I`m still using the original batteries, because I mostly play RPG and I don't use the gaming mode, I use it just for FPS and I must say that there is really a difference in how the mouse handles. There are a few downfalls that I must point, first is the two buttons on the left mouse button (DPI down & up) from time to time, especially in a hard-core FPS game I accidently push one of them but I must say that this happens very, very rear like ones in 2-3 days. The other one is the side buttons I don't know is it the feedback or the buttons but from time to time when I think that I push them I actually didn't. I`m pretty sure that I physically pushing the button but nothing happens, this is occurs more often ... like 5-6 times in a 2-3h game. Overall I`m very, very happy with the mouse, and I can honestly say that this is one of the best mice I`ve ever used definitely top 3 in my personal countdown ... and I have experience with a lot of mice. I think that downfalls are non-essential but still hope Logitech engineers will think of them for the next generation
@unicorn733711 жыл бұрын
I thought I'd weigh in on this Linus - I was strongly considering this mouse after an almost 8 year spell of flawless high sensitivity FPS gaming with my Logitech G5. I decided not to go with the 602 in the end because of the 500Hz polling rate and the lack of the freewheel/infinity scroll wheel. I use the mouse for browsing as well, so that's an important feature which my old but trusty G5 never had, so I have instead gone for a G700S which I love so far. Don't get me wrong, I think the G602 is a great looking, well featured mouse, but it strikes me as being a few clicks too far towards being an MMO mouse than an FPS one on the features scale. If it had freewheel scroll and a couple less thumb buttons, I'd have bought it in a heartbeat.

My first Wireless Gaming mouse. I have to say I am blown away by the overall quality of the product. While I can't say it's a definitive -win- on Logitech's part but I have to admit it's definitely a interesting move/direction they took with this particular mouse. The trade offs (lower DPI and 500hz poll rate) did not affect me in any way that I have noticed in CS GO. In fact, after only 4 deathmatch warm ups, I was able to place my shots quicker, with more accuracy and confidence (not a light/day difference but I do feel it there). Keep up the good work Logitech.

The G602 looks a lot and has similar features to the G700s. The main advantage I see for the G602 is slightly lower price point and much better battery life. Just about everything else is superior on the G700s. The fact that you can program 5 different profiles on the G700s is really a huge selling point for the G700s. The G700s somes with a rechargeable AA battery, so, I dont think battery life will be an issue for most people as long as they remember to plug it in when they are done using the mouse. This is perfect for those that have mobo's provide power to USB ports even while off, since I think is just about everything motherboard nowadays. The G700s also 1000 Hz and 8200 dpi, so, but it probably wont matter for most people.
@bukanijamla10 жыл бұрын
the biggest problem with g700s is the power consumption. 3 hours of wireless usage(full charge) then the mouse have to be wired to use. impractical.
@joemann797110 жыл бұрын
Bukan iJam It's not impractical when you consider that you can change the operation mode of the mouse. I have a G700, and it's almost identical to the G700s, except the G700s has a higher DPI, and different textures on the mouse itself, but it also does 1000 reports/second like the G700s, and unless I have it in gaming mode (which utilizes the 1000 reports/second), battery life lasts quite a long time. Unless there is no way to change the mode like on the G700, that is complete non-sense.
@bukanijamla10 жыл бұрын

@joemann797110 жыл бұрын
Anton Renfors I looked at the G602 and it does look like an amazing mouse. I recently lost my G700 went I moved so I'm in need to get a new mouse. There are some features that the G700s has that this simply doesn't have, though I do love the battery life on this thing. 1) The scroll wheel doesn't spin freely and 2) cannot be used as a wired mouse like the G700/G700s, which is a major killer for me. I think I'll just get the G700s especially since there is less than a $10 difference between the G602 and G700s. I guess it does suck that the battery life on the G700s isn't nearly as long as the G602 but it's rechargeable, unlike the G602, so it's not really much of an issue. I'm not sure how long my G700 lasted it would usually last more than 3 hours. Also, the G700s updates can be toned down to 500 reports per seconds to get better battery life and even lower for casual use and even better battery life. I dont think it will compete with the G602 simply because the G700s only holds 1 battery, and the G602 can hold 2. Those are trade-offs I can deal with. I'd rather deal with 1 rechargeable battery than 2 non-rechargeables and have to deal with charging the batteries separately if I want to use rechargeables.

+lamp00n I know you can remap the dpi buttons to something else. I would want those default dpi buttons used for something else, but can I remap some of the other buttons for dpi? I rarely need to switch dpi, so to be able to switch the dpi using the rear side buttons would be my choice, freeing up those front 2 buttons for something I use more often. Is it possible to move the dpi buttons to the side buttons?

After gaming with the g502 for several months and loving it, i decided I wanted the same thing, except wireless. The g602 was the closest thing i could find. Much nicer materials and feel, noticeably heavier, but not bad. As far as accuracy goes, i'm having a hard time telling the difference so far. It is certainly a big step up from the Razer Ouroboros, IMO, and for half the price.

love my G602, bought it on Christmas and have used it ever since. It's very comfortable and all the buttons i have been able to reach during normal gameplay and such, the DPI is perfect at the highest i could not think of any reason to have it higher. unlike other mice i have used in the past, it does not make my hand sweat ever and I am fully comfortable playing CS:GO with it for hours at a time with no cramps. as for over all build quality the matte finish on the thumb rest is impeccable, the rubber finish on the palm rest is amazing and slip resistant, the right and left mouse buttons are great quality and hardly double click, and the scroll wheel oh the scroll wheel, i absolutely adore the scroll wheels smooth finish, it is never uncomfortable when reading long passages and scrolling down while playing games, as an over all rating i give it 10 out of 10, I would highly recommend it to anyone who needs an overall everything mouse

TheCheapo1 Being honest, if you are buying this for gaming you should consider switching to windows. Not trying to start an OS war here, but really the main reason is that its just much, much cheaper. If you aren't buying this for gaming than you should still look into windows, but in such a condition its not nearly as bad using macs. (Again, along as you have a 'reasonable' amount of disposable income)

Because it is wireless, that is a deal breaker for me, in that I bought the G502 instead. Sure the extra buttons might seem appealing, but even for an MMO they aren't what you'd classify as a performance booster or time saver. Wireless Gaming Mice are pretty overrated if you are a person spending hours each day at your computer. Replacement batteries just boost the cost of it overtime also. Now if they included a usb detachable cord, I'd be singing a different tune.
@mariz93309 жыл бұрын
I was expecting a detachable USB cord too (as in Asus' Spatha). I personally spend almost half of the day in front of my PC, gaming, and having to recharge/buy batteries again and again is a major deal breaker. That cable gave me hope at first but no, they chose for it to be an 'extension' for the dongle. I mean, how hard could it be to just include a detachable cord?

Mariz Geraldine Jose The battery life is actually incredible. I didnt change mine for about 3 months (granted i only use my mouse for an average of 2 hours a day) and i only use one battery due to balance and weight preferences
@awesomises9 жыл бұрын
mewimi the point for me is, this thing will consume battery slower than its natural discharge. It'll last 1440 hours(in the saving mode), or 4 hours a day, every day for one year(360 days). Even if it runs out, I'm sure I could afford 20 AA batteries for 10 years. Though I would expect free scroll, detachable cord and little bit less programmable button, but hey, it's 1/3 price of other brands, and it's world better quality. Wireless is an importance issue since I plays a game required to move mouse curser with extreme precision, and any external force is an issue (mouse cord are not as flexible as a wool). I'm really looking into a comfortable wireless mouse, meanwhile cheap and long-lasting. I'm sorry in advance, if my word is any offence to you, I didn't mean to, I just would like to show my perspective. I shouldn't be so serious lol
@mewimi9 жыл бұрын
Meng Jerry Rechargeable batteries need to be removed, batteries need to be replaced. Extra cost/time lost simply because it does not have a wire and clearly this mouse isn't small enough to be classified as portable so why would it need to be wireless?

Damn you Logitech why do you take all of me money!! at first when he opened the battery compartment i got such a huge regret 2 batteries! its to heavy ! but to be enabled to install one and for it to work. why is this not a option on more mouse with dual batteries?! my microsoft sidewinder x8 had lovely wight to it and it to uses 1 battery.
@TheElcentralen10 жыл бұрын
***** had the opportunity to test it out alto already ordered one, its really neat you can swap the battery in eny place to get the wight not only lower but in the right place. and the thumb buttons are nice enough almost like the G400 really worried it would be sponge like the G700 horrible thumb buttons and way to heavy. but they did the job good.

***** i've got it and it is great.. not for gaming because i usually use my steelseries sensei for gaming but for EVERYTHING else i use the logitech :) the double battery is fine for me.. i would rather have the battery life and heavier weight over light and not as long lasting but i mean.. you can use it however you want and that's great ! :)
@Stone_Toad11 жыл бұрын
Thought the review was very thorough and you guys covered a lot of areas on the mouse that most reviews skip for example the weight shift option between using just one of the batteries. Also there is a slot available next to the batteries for the wireless adapter for those traveling or occasionally packing up for LAN parties :) I've been a proud MX series owner for 9 years both avid gaming and essential usage, I work daily with Logitech accessories as well as all other top competitors. The g602 is worth penny for penny the value you receive: Very smooth durable, only thing lacking is maybe a docking station when not in use.

I was just looking for a good gaming mouse under $80 and I stumbled upon this beauty. I honestly thought someone was high when they priced this at a measly $45 for slightly used. I was amazed, and even more amazed when the brand new price was only $54. I had to look it up, and I found this nifty review (I watch LinusTeckTips all the time, so it was a no brainer for me to watch this little unboxing). I honestly don't see a reason not to buy this mouse. Sure it doesn't have a bunch of lights and bling, but its amazing for its price. It has everything I need and looks like it would feel amazing in my hand. I am definitely giving this mouse a try.

Definitely one of my favorite mice to use for CAD software (Solidworks, NX, Creo, etc.) the mouse wheel middle click is very tactile (without too much activation force) and short travel which is perfect for quickly and easily orbiting around parts. Very robust, of course, and just enough buttons for different shortcuts.

Got a G700 a couple months ago and am still in love with it, the look/weight/ergonomics/features are all perfect for me. This mouse looks extremely sensible though; I really hope the DPI war is over, because the battery life you get on an optical mouse like this is awesome. I really wish the 602 had the G700's free-scrolling wheel though, I didn't expect to like it but now I doubt I could never buy a mouse without one.

I have had this mouse for about a month now and the battery has not gone down an inch. I would recommend this mouse to anyone looking for a decent gaming/normal use mouse. It is clean and in no way faulty if you've never had buttons on the side of a mouse before then it will take a little amount of time to get use to. This is overall a great mouse and has not let me down at all so far.

I bought this mouse Oct 2013 and it has been an amazing mouse. The pads on the bottom wore pretty quick but they can be replaced and I got plenty of battery hours out of it. Best mouse I've had in 25 years of using PCs. I use it for work and assign application shortcuts to the various buttons. Size and shape fit my slightly smaller hands perfectly, all buttons are comfortable to reach. Battery life is very good at several weeks of 8 to 14 hours of use per day on a single 1900mAh rechargeable battery (I only use one because I prefer the lighter weight) - it's long enough that when I do need to replace the battery, I couldn't tell you how long it's been since the last time. The first one I had did develop some defects towards the end of the warranty: The rubber piece under the palm popped out at one corner, the wheel click started working only intermittently (which apparently is a common issue with the model) and one of the index finger buttons stopped working properly (apparently the spring broke, and it remained depressed when used). Logitech sent me a new one within days of the warranty expiration date, without even asking for the old one back. There's absolutely nothing I dislike or am annoyed at about this mouse as it is, just a few more features I wish that it had: even more buttons (all those Visual Studio/ReSharper shortcuts need to go somewhere....), USB charging via detachable cable and a tilt wheel. (The MX Master has the latter two but has even fewer buttons, so it's ultimately a worse fit for me.)
@endergamer7946 жыл бұрын
I love this mouse too but wish logitech would make like a G602+ making it optionally rechargeable (maybe in including rechargeable batteries) and adding bluetooth, optional wired cable and maybe a higher dpi and a faster refresh rate
@Razor204811 жыл бұрын
Wanted to also add, for most gaming mice, when you adjust the DPI, it is not adjusting the sensor resolution, the sensor is still sending it's same data to the processing equipment in the mouse, it is adjusting how the mouse calculates the movement so you do not really gain more accuracy in a technical sense. if dpi was adjusted at the sensor level, then a low dpi would make the mouse non functional on some surfaces. The area the sensor sees is less than 2mm in most cases.

Got mine on sale late 2013 and this thing kicks ass. My one complaint is the for the form and how my hand naturally lays it's a bit difficult to hit the two rear buttons on six button panel. It's not a huge issue but if perhaps the new model could have the buttons lower, more into the thumb cradle. Battery life is insane, I've had over 18 months and I've changed the batteries twice and I'm a every day user. Most times I just leave the mouse on, so I imagine turning it off every time will save you even more battery life. Absolute 9.5 out of 10.
