I changed the switch on my moms mouse. One of these. There was one screw under the battery tray label. Easy to take apart. But the optical sensor keeps skipping around. Fine when I used it but I'll mess with it again soon. She has another one from the wireless keyboard she has.

How does yours have a white base

Same question. I ordered a one with black coloured base but received one like this in the video. It seems to work fine.
