Ride Like Hale 2014, Rogersville, TN 2014-08-16, Recumbent Trike Tour

The 4th Annual Chip Hale Center benefit ride didn't disappoint! Offering cycling ride distances of 62-miles (metric century), 36-miles and 21-miles there is something for everyone. Feeling a tad under the weather I had considered tackling the 21-mile route but after committing to the 36-miler I called an audible to combine part of an older 21-mile route with that of the 36-mile route. This ended up being about 30-miles in length. The truth be known............., I COULDN'T STAND THE THOUGHT OF OTHERS COMPLETING THE COURSE(S) EARLY AND POSSIBLY GOBBLING UP ALL THE FANTASTIC PORK SANDWICH PLATES!*
The $25 entry fee is graciously rewarded with not only good food, an event tee shirt and the friendship of event organizers and fellow riders, but the proceeds benefit the Chip Hale Center, a United Way Agency by providing support to adults with developmental disabilities; certainly a win-win for all.
