Hi Gaurav, Loved your Bali video series! It has helped me a lot in planning my upcoming trip. Since it’s my first time visiting Bali, I have a few questions and would appreciate your help: Klook Bookings & Niyo Forex Card I saw that Klook allows booking for scooters, trips, tickets, etc. If I use a Niyo Forex Card for payments, will I need an OTP for transactions? Since I plan to activate international roaming, will I receive OTPs on my registered Indian number while booking? Using Niyo Forex Card on Grab/Gojek Can I use my Niyo Forex Card for booking cabs on Grab/Gojek in Bali? International Roaming Experience How was your experience using international roaming in Bali? Did you face any issues with OTPs, network coverage, or internet speed? Would love to hear your thoughts! Thanks in advance. 😊

Thank you so much for the appreciation 😊. First of all, I liked your questions. It really shows that you are thinking in depth about the planning. Yes, online transactions through Niyo card requires OTP that you receive on your registered mobile number. So if you do any transaction in Bali and your number is not active, then you might not get OTP. To address this issue, like you are saying, I activated international roaming on my registered number (Airtel). Though it would be costly compared to buying a local sim, it saved a lot of hassle. I was easily getting OTP, calls etc . and I was not worried at all. International roaming worked perfectly fine. Also, I tried to book the tickets and experience from klook while I was in India. I explored the local market for renting a scooty. So I didn't do any online transactions through the Niyo card while I was in Bali. Also, you have to keep your WhatsApp number active too (in case it is different from your registered number) as people communicate via whatsapp more in Bali. Hope this clarifies your doubts. Ohh, is it? Wait till you see our vlogs on those waterfalls and morning treks that I have mentioned. There are stairs everywhere in Bali except for the beaches of Changgu, Kuta and Seminyak. You are going to be exhausted if you are not used to any physical exercises. I have mentioned beach clubs at night basically for rest, but practically you might not go to these clubs and prefer to have sleep to recover. I would insist though to take rest and not to exert yourself. Explore and enjoy at your own pace. We did 90% of this itinerary in 11 days, and our trip was very rich, active and relaxing at the same time.
