@@roshankumar-vk8di If you DL issuing state is different from your IDP issuing state then you need to get your DL updated. After payment, you get to select the slot. So depending upon your RTO, you may select a suitable slot, just like we choose a slot during passport application.

I would not like to get in the hassle of maintaining my FD as I am only using it for International Trips, so I would prefer a debit card. But someone who doesn't have any other credit card, who would like to take the benefits of a credit card like cash back, lounge access etc. then they can definitely go for the credit card.

Thank you so much for the appreciation 😊. It is no where explicitly mentioned about the color of the photo of passport. But I will recommend to upload a color photo. You can use mobile scanners to take the photo of your passport. They do a good quality scan these days.

@@kinjaldesai6880 No we didn't do SCUBA in Bali. There are many agencies that provide SCUBA diving and Manta Ray diving tours. If they accept card then will accept Niyo card. The only thing that can happen is that they may charge 3% charge on it. That happened with us during Rafting and ATV ride. Other than that, Niyo card was accepted everywhere without any problem.

Yes, you can withdraw money at the airport. But remember there is limit on the amount you can withdraw in a single day. But yes, you can plan and definitely do it.

How long did it take for address change? And I assume you applied for IDP only after address change, so in total how many days will address change plus IDP will take?

Yes, you got it right. Address change will be done before the IDP issue. But I applied for address change and IDP together (not recommended) and in 3-4 days I got my new DL. With my new DL I went to RTO again to get my IDP which was issued on the same day.

Carrying these items is fine and no need to declare them in customs. Just check the quantity of these items (liquid/paste) that can be carried in aeroplane. I think there is some limitation like 400 ml or something. Please check that.

@@RohiniHemu it is mostly for hand baggage. But certain items like coconut are not allowed in check in baggage. So carefully review the rules for your airline and do accordingly. Btw, is it that important to carry these items to Bali? 😃 You can get Indian restaurants there.

I took a direct flight. Just check with the airline whether your luggage will be automatically transferred or you need to collect it in Malaysia.

For bali custom declaration, it asks for flight number, now we have 2 different flight numbers on our ticket of vietjet, since we have a hault at vietnam and the flight will be changed then. @@LA-hd6yr Actually now I got your point. Yes, that's the issue in the website. The date of issue automatically changes to present date. In fact, that mistakes is carried forward to the final e-VISA issued. But that is not the matter of concern. In my e-VISA too, the date of issue was mentioned as the date on which I applied for e-VISA but nothing happened. That is not important. There won't be any issue. You can proceed with it.

You should not carry anything greater than 500 USD that you are going to leave in Indonesia. Suppose you are carrying a 1000 USD camera and bring it back, it is not to be declared in custom. You can apply for a E- Visa anytime before visiting Indonesia.
