I don't understand why Ken Block isn't in WRX this year. He was very competitive in it last year. But so far this year GRC has been a huge success for him.

He has been with ford now for 6 years but now he has ford development behind him so not just a sponsored driver but has actual ford engineering and development working with him and he said that was the key to being with ford. To be able to race and be on the same level as factory drivers for other manufactures.

Well if you don't already know Ken Block was just signed by ford for a full 2016 WRX calendar with Andreas Bakkeraud as his team mate. Their goal is to win the manufactures title. Can't wait.

+StandoffSiren02 as excited as I am too what "isn't real" about GRC? They've been at it longer than WRX, do more laps per race than WRX. Two WRC champions have competed in it (Loeb and gronholm). Two RA champions have competed (Pastrana and Higgins), an ex f1 and nascar driver is their current champion. They've visited more countries on the eastern hemisphere outside of Europe than WRX has etc etc. granted they've kind of rescinded into a US only championship lately but the only real difference between GRC and WRX is the joker lap is the shorter lap in GRC.

JDMSG The problem with GRC is that it is only tarmac. I enjoy racing but it's a very artificial "rallycross"
