Ken Block Crushes Concord Pond Stage Record: Raw Onboard Footage from Hyundai i20 WRC Car!

Concord Pond, my favorite stage of the New England Forest Rally and perhaps the entire American Rally Association schedule, was one for the record books this year. Alex Gelsomino and I drove the Hyundai i20 WRC car harder and faster, with WAY bigger air than ever before.

Ken will never stop shredding, even when he's no longer with us. The laws of physics will not allow him to be forgotten, he tore the whole world up and did it with all four wheels ripping. This video is all the proof you need of a real life superhero. The tire marks will remain and so will the legacy of footage he blessed us with. I'm sure wherever Lia goes in life, her father would be infinitely proud of her.

I respect these drivers and copilots more than any other automotive racing teams, the guts it takes to throw that car around blind turns and huge jumps on gravel and dirt it’s insane!! Rally racing is awesome and Ken Block is a Legend among even the best drivers!

I have the very unique privelage of living only 20 minutes from concord pond road.I love that it is ken blocks favorite stage in the world and that I was able to see him compete in person in my tiny little part of the world.I got his autograph in 2005 as a rookie and will treasure that signature for the rest of my life.Thank you ken for everything you have brought into my life.

I live in Rumford, and this stage was in my back yard! Much of this road is part of the Maine ITS(Interconnected Trail System) At 9:41, he crosses a small bridge, then passes a road on the left that the ITS follows. I've ridden this many times. Bob

I finally finished this swap. Now have over 2,000 miles on it. No issues. Yes it is less powerful but for normal driving it’s not that bad. If I need it I just use sport mode and shift the gears. Few things to note on my swap, I have a 13 forester and used a 13 Impreza motor. I was getting codes for throttle position and coolant/oil temp. I swapped the engine harness, intake, and throttle body from the original motor. This made the coolant/oil temp sensors different as well as the ignition coils. I just used the original sensors and coils and that fixed the problem. I used a nut for the spacer and had to use the Impreza spark plug boots. Thanks again for the great idea and for saving me thousands!

Haha. Hyundai already builds an incredibly stable car to begin with. Tons and tons of great road feedback in the stock model and just a very stable car. This is just using that frame, modifying, and pushing it to the extreme limits. With Block behind the wheel and a legendary co-driver. Just... As soon as I saw the car in the thumb and the name of the driver, I knew this was going to be an epic run.
