SxF has great foreshadowing. Imagine similar to end of ep 4 and how Loid&Yor argued in ep 7. Sadness due to revelation, reflecting on the situation and accepting to be a family.

@@joseph86255 when you use the real world parallels to the organizations and countries in the manga, it gets easier to see why it's a situation that *you don't want happening,* if we switch the fake countries with the real ones, we get that: loid is an agent and a spy for the bundesnachrichtendienst (bnd, for short) the west german intelligence service, that has connections to nato, the cia, and the united states. yor is an assassin for a "shadow government", since she's east german, this shadow government would be the soviet union, essentially making her a kgb assassin, assigned to kill traitors to the state, guess who fits under that umbrella. in short, they're enemies, falling in love, living under the same roof and taking care of the same orphan girl, they just don't know yet. ...the manga gets kinda dark when you think about it that way, but it kinda works to explain why it might be bad for those two to figure out who they really are, that's probably where their personal motivations for joining their respective organizations would play a role.

I feel like this WOULD likely happen. Deep down, they are both working jobs that they are told are done to “protect their country,” but it’s obvious that’s not what they fight for. Loid became a spy because of the loss of his family and loved ones in the war, wanting to make sure that doesn’t happen to any other children. Yor became an assassin in order to provide for Yuri after their parents died. As much as they try to deny it, personal feelings and family are their motivators. I doubt that they will want to leave or split apart, because they make each other feel happy. They make each other feel *human.* And they deserve to be happy together, wanting to make sure Anya has a better childhood then they did. ❤️❤️❤️

@@oprime In fact, Anya telling them about their powers would help her get closer to them, especially Yor, since Yor would then realise that she's been making her daughter suffer in silence with her morbid thoughts. Maybe I'm jumping the gun, but I think the main lesson the series is going for is that secrets ultimately only serve to put a barrier between people, and sometimes the best solution is to let people into the loop regardless of the potential risks involved.

Yor already loves Anya, likes Loid on a Crush level, Loid is trying to stay detached but about there as well. Anya loves them both.

The following morning, Anya read her parents’ minds again and realised what had happened. Their secrets were out, but…they were still here. They hadn’t fought or killed each other or simply left. If anything, they seemed…closer than ever. If they could still be together even after finding each other out, maybe…she was safe. Maybe they’d still want her and understand her better. Nervously, Anya asked her parents if she could tell them something. They listened, expecting something going on in school. Anya told them everything she herself had kept from them. Her ability to hear the thoughts of others, her knowing the truth about them since the beginning, and her fear of losing them if they found out. Loid and Yor were both equally stunned, initially thinking it was just her playing, yet she knows things she shouldn’t possibly know. There was no suppressed smiles or laughter from their daughter, only desperation and fear as she bared her soul, hoping they would still want her despite her ‘condition.’ As this new information sunk in, the spy and the assassin recognised their own dilemma in Anya’s burden. She already seemed to lighten back up before they could even begin to assure her they would never send her away. As Yor held her daughter, quietly promising to never leave her, Loid could barely stop himself from laughing in spite of himself. His family may well be the strangest he had ever encountered. But that was all the more reason to hold them close. At least the dog is normal.
