3 Colors! Simple HOLIDAY CARD Loose Watercolor Christmas Wreath Watercolour Landscape Painting Demo

/ loisdavidsonart www.etsy.com/u... Today's demo could easily be used for a Christmas or Holiday/Midwinter card design, paint it then print out your small copies to turn into card!
It's a loose Yuletide Wreath, loosely painted with 3 colours: perylene green, sap green and vermilion. I used my mops/rounds and calligraphy brushes, but try out your brushes to see which ones will make the best leaf shapes for you. I also used a water spray. Why not give it a try, and use any colours you like, and if you prefer a simpler wreath, stop the viedo just before I use the water spray, and finish it off with a few more details of your choice.
My board is at an angle of about 45 degrees tilt. My paper is 100% cotton Millford, cold pressed, 140lb/300g weight, 11" x 15"/28cm x 38cm. Thanks for watching, and happy painting!

When I saw first few strokes I thought looks like shodo, Japanese kanji strokes. Then you mentioned uding calligraphy brush. So like brush i used in Japan with shock lessons. Your strokes are so crisp....years of practice.
