How fun! The sky's the limit with regards to flowers and color choices. A great beginner's exercise.

hi Louis! this painting is very beautiful! It's not difficult to paint but still looks amazing. Love the way watercolors spread when wet on wet, that's so relaxing to do and to watch :) enjoyed watching! have a wonderful day! Marija 😊💖

I love splattering in watercolor but struggle with control and in general getting the pint to come off the brush. You said you were using a bristle brush? Can you tell me where you purchased it and the size. I would imagine the stiff bristles would let go of the paint easily and solve some of my struggles. My husband and I love your videos and painting. Thank you so much

It’s a cheap hog bristle brush I purchased from a Pound shop, a cheap children’s painting brush!

Pretty. Is the first blue actually pthalo blue? Prussian blue has black in it usually making it darker. Maybe your brand is different but all 5 top brands i use are darker. What brand?
@LoisDavidsonArt3 жыл бұрын
It is genuine prussian blue, I t’s my homemade paint, genuine single pigment from Sennelier, pigment number PB27, . I don’t like pthalo blue and have never used it!

@@LoisDavidsonArt wow that's awesome that you make your own paint. Why i never liked tubed Prussian blue. Fantastic color!

Beautiful! Questions- I like that small mop brush. I haven’t anything like it. Do you have a link to where you purchased it? Also I need a piece of board to tape my paper to. What size is yours? It looks like it sits in the easel okay and would work for any size paper. My small easel isn’t doing it for me.

The small synthetic mop was a present so no idea where to obtain one, it’s a Polina Bright no. 1. My board is about 20” x 16”/51cm x 41cm
