How to SIMPLIFY a Photo & Use Your Artistic License, Easy beginners line & wash Watercolor landscape

In this video I'm painting a line & wash sunset skyscape with a rising moon against starkly silhouetted trees, and talking about some thoughts on using your artistic license and simplifying photos for painting, something that can be a bit tricky, especially if you are a beginner!
My board is tilted at around 45 to 60 degrees so the water and paint flows nicely.
Materials:
Millford 100% cotton paper hot pressed 11" x 15"/28cm x 38cm
I'm using Faber Castell Artists Pitt Pens in size small and brush pen, both are waterproof. Gamboge hue, alizarin scarlet lake, paynes grey, indigo. I use various brushes, see video, but use what ever colours or brushes you like!

Time for me to start drawing in my paintings..... I would have painted the trees, this looks like fun. I have rarely combined mediums unless I was making a quick modern painting, there I have used wall paint whatever was at hand. I don't know why I keep watercolors so seperate from everything else. Time to get them off their pedestal and let them play with the rest.

Love your tutorials and your style but draw the line with artistic license that borders on celestial fantasy. You can not have a full moon on the same side of the sky as a sunrise/sunset. Full moon and Sun are always 180 degrees apart. A pale sliver of a new moon would work nicely.
